I love mobile order. You order your food while waiting in line for something. Whenever you're ready to eat, you go to the restaraunt. You skip the long obnoxious line of people, find your table, and click the button for them to prepare it. You wait for them to send you an alert saying that it's ready. You pick it up, and they email you the receipt. Once they integrate the discounts into the system, it will be perfection. Well done Disney.
I think that isn't true. When I was a kid the NY Yankees were king of the hill and frankly we never got tired of watching (or in those days listening to) them win. Of course, I guess we have to factor in that I lived in NY State at the time. As for my family (all New Englanders) here in NC are cheering for the Eagles. I am a born rebel so I have chosen the Patriots if for no other reason then to just be ornery. I don't follow football at all, but, I do attend their Super Bowl party for the Chicken wings. That path to success was reinforced by last years game, especially the ending. I have no use for Tom Brady either, for many reasons, but, I lived in New England for almost 63 years and I find it difficult to pull away.
To be completely honest, if the Patriots were to lose I don't think I am going to have to call the suicide hot line and I will sleep well. My true give a crap factor is very low when it comes to football. But just so you are informed, I have obtained a special SB training photo that I will share.
We're making wings too. Mozzarella sticks and a veggie tray. I ate handful of broccoli and cauliflower already. My daughter wiped out the grape tomatoes. A pregame appetizer. Almost forgot the chocolate chip cookies!
We got snow all day yesterday, just light fluffy stuff. It actually looked nice and it was easy to snow. I think it was nice for all the visitors in our area here for the Super Bowl to see the fluffy snow especially if they hadn't seen snow before. Anyway today it is currently -8 with a windchill of -24...brrrrrrrrrrrr.
I'm waiting to see some of the Super Bowl commercials they've been hyping like the Steven Tyler one. They just showed the one about the dog named Old Spice.
I wouldn't say that I am really cheering for the Patriots, but of the two teams I would rather see the Patriots win. I probably would have leaned more towards the Eagles but after seeing news reports of the way the Eagles fans treated Vikings fans in the playoff game that really turned me off. Seeing all the beer bottles (some full) chucked at Vikings fans, the language used at them, and seeing Vikings fans having to be escorted to and from the game because of belligerent fans just turned me off wanting the underdog Eagles to win. I even know someone personally that went to the game as a Vikings fan and experienced some of that and they aren't the type of people to embellish or stir up trouble and that type of poor sportsmanship is terrible to me. I realize not all of the Eagles fans like that, but it is enough to make me want the other team to win. Plus I can't see why people are so against Tom Brady it seems like they are jealous because he is good at his job and seems to have a nice life. So I guess go Pats!
But to be honest, I plan to "watch" the game while working on my photo book so it really doesn't matter to me.
Wow! I heard some stuff, but, didn't realize it was that bad! Too bad the Vikings didn't win...I would have definitely been rooting for them...!!!
The only pro football game we've ever been to was Dallas v. Philadelphia at Texas Stadium back in the late 80's. It was tied in the early 3rd quarter and Dallas had the ball. I commented to DWifey that what we needed was for Herschel Walker to break out on one of his famous runs. Low and behold on the very next play he indeed did just that! After that Dallas just throttled 'em...it was a hoot...!!!!!
I was in Freehold Raceway Mall (central NJ) yesterday.....then stopped at Golden Corral for dinner...then did 45 minutes of supermarket shopping in Brick NJ. Because I was wearing my EAGLES sweatshirt, so many strangers looked me in the eye and said: "Good Luck".
So funny...I'm not even playing in the game! I promise not to throw any interceptions!
Anyway.....my area is pumped up to beat the Patriots.

I know I've posted this before, but, I got up to go get a cup of water at the office and came back to find a bat on my office floor. Scaped it up with a piece of cardboard and took it out to the dumpster. A little surprising, but, not too crazy 'round here, as we have the largest urban bat colony in North America...!!!

I made a creamy veggie soup, a buffalo cauliflower dip, leprechaun mock and cheese, gluten free double chocolate muffins, and waiting on deck are gluten free vanilla muffins.
It seems 33 is the dividing line between NY and PHL fans during the regular season. I'm thinking most NY fans hate BOS more than Phl today I tried quoting @SteveBrickNJ and for some reason couldn't

I haven't been outside yet today (and probably won't) but standing next to the door while I wait for Kapono to come back inside is enough. Poor little pumpkin has to go out in the cold. I haven't drunk a beer yet today but there was a bottle in the chilli I made. I will have one tonight I think.
