My mom and pop paid for our phone...black, desk model, rotary. One in the house. At some point (I don't even remember what year), it was replaced by a black, trimline desk model, rotary. Again, only one phone in the house... :cyclops:

It doesn't surprise me at all....I wondered about that...whether it would make a difference. You DO have the advantage of being able to read and write well in English, so I still think you'd be alright. Have you ever traveled to Europe before? I know you've been to various places in the US, but have you ever been somewhere that doesn't speak either English or Spanish as their national language?

You sound like you're talking about me, but I don't remember doing it and all my toes seem to be in tact. So I'm going to go out on a limb and say it WASN'T me, even though it SOUNDS like me.
What sucks is they can't do anything about broken toes...have you got some nice warm, thick socks to put on and some slippers? Or can you actually get a shoe on? I'm betting you aren't walking well. Hope they heal fast!!
