Good grief, not again!! Your ankles have quite the history---sorry.to hear it's happened again I think you must have weak ankles. Once the ankle heals, it's actually a good idea go to skating--it's good to strengthen the ankle muscles.
I definitely have weak ankles. I'm actually surprised it's this one, though. My left one had PT and tends to be stronger. The right one will randomly give out and sprain horribly. And yet I sprained the left one.

It's genetic, though. My mom also has weak ankles. She fell in the parking lot at the grocery store about a year ago when one of hers gave out. She was pretty sore afterward and ended up having to wear her brace for two months, and because she fell on her shoulder, it's still not right. Better, but still achy at times. She first sprained her ankle at age 13, so...

Well, I have been in denial for two days, but it is time to face the facts...

I sprained my ankle.

And guess what I was doing? Walking down the steps.

I thought it was just wrenched and I could deal with it, but then yesterday I decided to put a brace on it, and I examined it today and it was bruised and swollen. So now I'm on the brace. The small one. I'm not doing the big, goofy, immobilizing thing.

I wanted to go ice skating on Saturday but clearly that is not happening now :grumpy:

Sorry to hear of your sprained ankle. Take it easy and I hope it heals fast. Just be thankful it wasn't broken! :)

@Cesar R M thanks again for showing us pictures of your trip. It is very interesting. When I usually think of traveling to Mexico I think of beaches but it looks like there is so much more to explore. :)
Definitively a lot of culture thanks to all the variations that meet in this nation.
From Colonial Powers influence (US, England, France, Ireland, Spain) to natives of different groups (Aztec, Mayan, Huichol, etc..) and the mixture they generated (Convents, Haciendas, etc..).

One thing that my mother recommended me a lot that she has done a few times.. and I havent.. is the BARRANCA DEL COBRE ( Canyon of the Copper). Which is a very deep canyon in the north states with a train ride along a few native towns, Spanish era towns and natural areas with train ride included.

For me, Ice skating was no good for me as a kid. I discovered was better at roller skating than ice skating. Back when I was in gym class we had roller skating, I had much better balance in roller skates than ice skates. I don't think would be decent at rolling skating anymore due to my gait being off due to a severe hip injury I had as a junior in High school with one leg being slightly longer than the other.

I was prone to sprain ankles as a kid and I did try ice skating on a field trip back when I was in 4th grade. I got my ankles stronger by doing different types exercises at home after I was shown at Children's hospital back when I was a kid.

There was an indoor skating rink just past a mile from the grade school I went to. I discovered I had very bad balance on ice skates and the only way I could ice skate is by holding a walker back when I was in grade school. I fall down 6 times in about 7 minutes and landed on my knees and I'm sure that is one of the reasons how I got bad knees as an adult.

I keep finding her asleep in the box. You don't even know she's there until you look.

Meanwhile, I'm currently laying on my stomach and Belle is laying on my back.

Cats.
One of mine used to sleep curled around my head (and woke me up countless times by twitching the tip of his tail in my face), and the three of them knew I was pregnant with our 2nd before I did - they fought over who got to sleep on my belly.

Sympathy like. I guess acrobatics were never and will not be a part of your life. ;)

Yep, full price, same as on party days. While I'm glad they did it this time to celebrate CMs, it really burns my butt because if you're like me, you get all your planning done way in advance, only to find out a month before your trip (after all ADRs and FPs have been made) that the hours have changed AGAIN, so you have to go in and change everything and HOPE you're still able to get what you wanted. We always get hoppers, so the early closings don't affect us financially, but they still are annoying because they cause so much shuffling.

This past weekend was the first Pop Warner. This Wendesday I believe is the Animal Kingdom evening just for them wedged in between the two weekends. This last week was crazy busy at the other parks especially on the night they closed for the CMs and also other early closures for the MK due to parties. Left fewer FPs and ADRs dues to the multiple early closures in a week and then add in Pop Warner Football and Cheer. The other 3 parks were slammed. Collectively if you look at the attraction count between Epcot, Studios and AK it doesn't come close to loosing the MK for spreading out the masses when you count the rides in the MK overall.

The stopping breathing is the main concern. Those with severe Apnea will stop breathing an average of around 40 times a hour. With the Cpap mine went from that number (just a little higher) to no stopping at all. I was amazed at how much more energy I had the next day. My heart that had somewhat enlarged went back to normal size and my blood pressure has been practically perfect ever since. Not only that, but, your spouse will also get more sleep and help them enjoy life as well. My wife used to lay there at night and count how often I stopped breathing. Pretty scary for everyone.

Yep. Nasty for everyone involved.

My dogs both knew I was pregnant before I did as well. The smaller one kept following me around the house and the bigger one started over protecting me. My husband and I had gotten into a heated debate about something and he actually growled at my husband when he raised his voice.

We used to have a cat that liked to sleep above my head like a hat. Occasionally though I'd wake up in a panic because she'd bed down in my face and suffocate me. Cats :cautious::cautious:
