That sounds exactly like the movie my ds' class watched a few years ago. I hope it was it made all the kids feel better even the ones without autismThank you....that helps a lot. I know he's capable of so much, but I do worry that people will underestimate him because of the label. His Psychologist showed him a video about Autism yesterday, and it says in that video that the wiring in the brain makes them see things differently, but just because a playstation game won't work on an xbox doesn't mean it's broken, and it takes someone with the empathy to understand how an Autistic brain works differently to help. I'm sure he'll be fine at this school, IF he gets in. They are trained teachers and professionals. I just REALLY hope they will accept him.
I call it the miracle of fall. Every year around this time chores seem to get done without asking every once in a while. the only problem is the more chores done the bigger the gift that gets asked for.Only for the next 4 years?
So nice that you came home to cleanliness...that would be so nice!
I'll keep my fingers crossed for all of you.Well, the school hasn't actually given us any work for him yet. But, he IS less stressed, though he is still having nightmares and such. I think now it's more nerves about what the new school will be like than anything. Natural, I think. But it's going to be an interesting couple of weeks. We have fall break starting October 16th. Ideally, we would come home from DLP and he'd be able to start right away at the new school, but I don't know if that is realistic.
I'm sorry to hear that. Are you allowed orange juice? Any word of if you have stones. Hoping yes to #1 and no to #2. Get some rest and avoid teenage boys, they have germsI think I have a touch of what he has. I have a bit of a cough and was running a low grade fever last night. But not nearly as bad as he had it.
Any chance you can call out Tuesday?Even with me being out Monday and the coming three day weekend. I need another mental health day.
YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and what are you making your dw for dinnerHalf-day Friday...!!!!!!!![]()
I hope it's not a stone, none of our family can have any tea of any kind. And many other things......I have decaf. It's that I can't do any dark liquids. So no black tea.
And I have to get a CT scan of my kidneys tomorrow. They want to make sure a kidney stone isn't causing all of this. Lovely.
Dr Figgy is giving you a script for 1 Figgy sized margarita tonight.I hope it's not a stone, none of our family can have any tea of any kind. And many other things......
I love flower and garden, but it's too close to our family June trip. So we go to food and wine, but around 11:00 A.M. and early lunch, or late breakfast we start at Paris and have treats at the bakery, then do one side. The next day (or ...so) we start at the Paris bakery and do the side we didn't catch the first day, it breaks up the fun, and you can get the things on each side you want to try. The third day, if time allows.....we go back for the favorite foods. As much as I love food and wine it is a drunkfest for some but tends to inflict many. Flower is much more tame (for now)
Our style of touring avoids most of the drunks. We start early and end early. See my earlier note. We went one time on a Saturday night.....big mistake!!! never to do that again....Oh, I forgot to mention we only go Mon. thru Thursday....what ever fits in. Sometimes one day and half one side. If time allows, only the other side. We decide what is the "best" side for us. And do that first. We don't mind missing the second side.....Yes, I hope that F&G doesn't become another Food & Wine. One of the reasons we avoid Food & Wine is because of too many drunkards. We went in 2013 on the last weekend of Food & Wine and there were just too many out of control people in my opinion. I don't care if people drink and have fun, it was just overboard.
Thank you for doing something very nice for me today! The best picture for this week! Stars....to you @MOXOMUMD !!!
Amen.....it's a real pain.....Sorry to hear that. Let's hope they don't see any stones.
I made chocolate fudge for hubby with pecans. (I cheated and had a piece, too!)I did something nice today. I bought a Russell Stover chocolate pumpkin, with orange marshmallow filling, and ate it. That was very nice of me to do that, because it gives the candy makers jobs.![]()
It very well could have been. It's very short...like 6 minutes and it's on youtube. It's called "Amazing things happen".That sounds exactly like the movie my ds' class watched a few years ago. I hope it was it made all the kids feel better even the ones without autism![]()
I had one today...after talking to sister. It was her birthday today......I could say more, but I won't. Let's just say she isn't fond of our president.Dr Figgy is giving you a script for 1 Figgy sized margarita tonight.
