Hahaaa...!
I started getting "short arm disease" ;) in my early 40's.
Actually, I'm pretty surprised it took that long. Pretty much everyone else in my family (the one I was raised in anyway), was wearing glasses at an early age. :geek:
Other than that (and those other issues I posted about), I seem to have eyes like a hawk (knock on wood - my head, again ;))...! :)
I've had it since grammar school. So far so good knock wood(my head) same script since then.

They're buying Kohls?! I couldn't find any information on that. What was your source for this?

Oops. I should have started it is being speculated by the Wall Street peeps that this is stage one. Pattern like Whole Foods. Reasoned that unless there is an outright buyout or leverage of kohls stock there is no reason for Kohls to get in bed with its direct competition Amazon.

Isn't it funny how we tend to relate all vision problems to age. Kids sometimes have to wear glasses to see clearly, it is a physical problem for the most part. Needing reading glasses (cheaters as you call them) is part of growing older, but, why would anyone want to be seen doing the movements it takes to try and read something instead of looking "intellectual" and using reading glasses. To me its the same as the dreaded comb-over, something that I erroneously did for a couple of decades. Life improves greatly if you don't have to strain or stand on you head to read something. What's that old joke... "I used to be able to read really well until my arms got short". As far as baldness is concerned, to me I just feel that I can't see it, so what do I care. If it bothers someone else, it seems to me that is their problem.

Additional light does help, however, you look pretty silly going to a restaurant with a flashlight. Better the glasses. Or if you where glasses anyway, invisible line bifocals make it a total secret.
I agree. I wear bifocals now, no line. I can't read prices in stores or expiration dates. It got to the point I had cheaters everywhere, house in every room, car etc. yet I was frequently searching for a pair. It became stupid. So my bifocals have a reading scrip and clear for the top as I don't need a correction for distance.

Helpful for your....not for your parents. Granted a car is cheaper than university but that's how most parents get screwed when it comes to college loans.

As you know it is often rough launching a career right out of college. Parents still have to know their kids when they co sign.

Me my fist car was a Mustang new. My dad didn't want me paying interest right out of school. He bought the car for cash and I made payments to a savings account ever 2 weeks. I lived at home. I had it payed for in under a year. My dad then signed the title over to me.

I lived at home one more year and saved for a down payment on a condo which I bought the next year. I could not have done the new car or condo by 23 if it wasn't for my folks trust in me. But because they did and had the means to be kind I had a great deal I payed for by 23. Every families dynamic is different

It has been rough for new graduates this decade. The collerteral damage most of us felt from that recession

Earlier today, I could not find Belle. Went all around the house looking for her. Then, I noticed Jasmine was on top of the air hockey table. I thought about the fact that Belle could be in the hollow base of the table. I shined a light in there, and before I could even look, out flies Belle and charges up the steps.

Well, maybe I didn't know where she was, but there's no hiding from Jasmine.

Reminds me of the Friends episode when duck jr and chick jr get stuck in the foosball table.

Good morning. I tried logging in earlier but the site was down:mad:

I was on here early yesterday morning, and the notice came up that they were taking down the site for maintenance. Tried to get on last night after work (around 7 PM) and still couldn't get on.

Thank goodness it was up this morning. I was beginning to "Jones" ;) from being away from the forums for a day! :D

Speaking off old TV series....Will and Grace this week!!! The same writers are on the show so finally a funny sitcom again. Though I liked Tim Allen's show somewhat. I accidentally watched the second episode on my phone last night.

Accidentally meaning I hate watching TV on the phone. I only was going to watch a clip but ended up watching the whole thing instead.

Of course, I'm picky on what TV shows I watch.
