Reminds me of my Father. He never once flew in an Airplane, even into the 90's. He had been a mechanic on a P-47 during WWII. His favorite reason was... "I know what can go wrong with airplanes". He refused to acknowledge that perhaps the technology had changed over the years. He had us all scared to death about flying, however, I did it anyway and took a college trip to Europe. That didn't mean that I wasn't acutely aware of every single odd noise that plane made. After he passed away, my daughter was graduating in Colorado Springs and my mother wanted to attend, but, she also had never flown. We talked her into it, but, I swear that she practically pulled the arm rests off the seats during take off. Didn't take her long though to be sold on flying. One look out the window at the world below and that was all it took. Within a couple of years she was taking solo trips to friend all over. She was a tiny, needy looking old lady and people flocked to her to help her get where she needed to be. She played the part of little miss helpless and let them. She loved the attention. In this world you do what it takes to survive.I'm sure it has something to do with living on a ship for several years with the worst food ever.
Meh, I don't mind. I'm going to bring my dramamine to DLP and I'm considering trying BTMRR with it....we shall see.
My perfect day went to heck quickly. ok maybe it wasn't so perfect after waiting up for James, getting up to get my dh off to work at 4(at least I got to sleep until 3:30) and getting the kids to a fund raiser before going shopping but it was pretty good considering and was looking to get better. Now I have to tell my dh and James on of their favorite aunts has passed when they get homeIt's going to be a rough week

Looks very nice. I hope she had a fun birthday.
So agreeQuick service drinks at Disney are terrible. I remember the African margarita in animal kingdom when it was hand made.....so very good. The new stuff they call a margarita is like cheap kool-aid. So sweet and yucky. They have almost no business anymore.
Oy. Momma dog groomer?Oh and someone had some fun with the leaves in the backyard.
