Well then I need at least 2.

What kind of gifts do you make?

After our cruise for 3 days in 2014, dh does not want to go on another. He felt claustrophobic and thought it was too crowded. It was also really expensive for us since we needed 2 cabins. I did get one of the cheapest 3 day cruises, but we actually get more value going to Disney itself.

I usually only ever invited up to 10 kids at the most except for when I had the gymnastics party. I could get 25 for the $90.

Oh, I am so sorry. I hope James will be ok. :(
THNX. The guys are getting sleep pants and the women are getting fleece shawls. I also make cookies and fruit cake. I'm glad nobody can tell that I use Bob's GF baking mix for those:joyfull:

So far I baked a loaf of oatmeal bread, potato stew is simmering and I am preparing a pureed vegetable soup which I just call tomato, :)because if I call it vegetable then a certain child will not consume it. ;)It is actually full of cauliflower, carrots, zucchini, onion, and tomato paste. The tomato seems to take over the flavor. I compare it to those of you that ever ate Chef Boyardee ravioli, the tomato sauce. :)
:hungry::hungry::hungry::hungry: and I'm sure the soup is much better than Chef Boyaryuck

I was taken away from the computer and I guess sent reply by accident. Didn't even realize it. Constant issues with the the computer systems. They charge $90 an hour for remote support and then charge more when they come in to the office to fix it, and then another problem seems to pop up.This week he thought a keyboard was not working because when a certain key was pressed zeros all just started showing up on the screen in a field and they couldn't be deleted faster than they were appearing. He thought it was the keyboard, so he went to Staples and picked up a new keyboard, but nope it wasn't the keyboard. The computers are only 2 -3 years old so he thinks it is the software that the office uses, so he will be changing it out. Hopefully sooner than later because unfortunately nowadays without computers you can't run a business. Sometimes the old way of doing things seems so much better and less stressful.
I agree with the older things. Like grocery store packaging it's a nightmare any more for hubby and I . And pill packaging is horrible. I always say, if I have a migraine, it will get much worse before we get the package open.

I'm going to do some yoga, get dressed while the blueberry coffee is brewing drop some kids off on my way veggie shopping and the just a nice quiet day at the outside pool.:joyfull: Care to join me?
I would love to. We spent the morning outside at Jake's soccer game. It was 46 with a cold north wind. I didn't wear a warm enough coat. :coldfeet::coldfeet::coldfeet: I'm in a coat and you are by the pool . Enjoy. I hope Jose misses your state. Maria, which is the next storm brewing is doing the same path as Irma. No cruise information right now. The bahama's may be hit too. I hope it's all wrong. Puerto Rico is in her path right now. Yike's. And another storm right behind Maria.:eek::eek::joyfull: Oh, I did turn on my fireplace when I got home, it's nice and cozy.:cat::cat::cat:

Smells bad and tastes worse.
So basically you are saying that the people that pay all that money to Starbucks for exotic coffee, really don't like coffee? Interesting! I was wondering the same thing about Lemon flavored Ice Tea which is very popular. If you want lemon why not just have lemonade? Or even flavored lemonade, what is that all about... As the robot used to say to Will... this does not compute.

This was like a deja vu moment for me. My parents were the type that never fell for my shenanigans, and pretty much, the only words they said to me were either "no" or "yes"--(usually, no . . .). ;)

I think I was around 5 at the time, and my mother and I were walking through a major department store in the city. Of course I wanted EVERYTHING. :p After her telling me no, about 4 times, I decided I would sort of stealthily grab just a few (smaller) things by my side, when she wasn't looking. I figured that when we got to the register, it was too late to turn back and she'd just buy them for me. :D

As we approached the register, she saw my "stash" and demanded an answer. Went like this:

Mom: What are you hiding?!
Me: (sheepishly . . .) A few nice things.
Mom: Do you have a job, and the money to pay for those?
Me: No, I'm a kid. :hilarious:
Mom: Young lady, you march right back to where you found all these and put them back!!

So we traipsed all over the store (keeping in mind--escalators, elevators--my stealth was multi-floors) and my mom was NOT pleased with me . . .

:joyfull:
I got mostly hand me downs. I never went shopping until teen years. My Mom could still say no....:rolleyes:o_O

My wife made all the clothes for my daughters until middle school. Then labels became life and death. I've got school pictures of the oldest wearing an outfit my wife made for school pictures and two years later the youngest was wearing that outfit in her school picture. They survived the humiliation. Or perhaps that explains the occasional oddities. Hmmm!

I didn't do bad at high school. My sister wanted new clothes each year for high school. She went to work, and I got her left overs. She took really good care and I benefited. :) Maybe that's why I hate to shop. Hubby picks out most of my stuff, or I buy off QVC. No hassle and they do free returns if you want another size or color.
