I had to laugh at this...I forgot we had been having a discussion about paper vs. e books and to me, as a musician, a "real book" is a book of Jazz music and my immediate thought when you said you loved your real books was "Oh! I didn't know he was a jazz musician! I wonder what instrument. How did I miss this conversation?" and then I read further and felt really stupid. Duh!

I have never heard of "real books" before, but, I do play guitar, and once had a private guitar teacher from England teach me some fun jazz guitar chords. One of his guitar inspirations from the past was Django Reinhardt. The guy (Django Reinhardt) had fingers damaged in a fire, but, still persevered, and was one heckuva' musician...!
