Hmmmmmm, I wonder what else could go in that space- it's definitely a unique footprint! I, too, would love to see something happen to the Speedway, but that is a topic for another day.

I hope this hints to an overhaul of Tomorrowland. This concrete parking lot needs so much love and cohesiveness....

I hope this is the stat of the refresh the other thread speaks so highly of. In my opinion Tommorowland is the weakest of the lands at MK right now, or the one most in danger of going stale.

Have you ever read about the original concept for that attraction? It was going to be called NOSTROMO, and would have had guests armed with laser guns creeping around the Nostromo from Alien, being stalked by the Xenomorph. Basically, an awesome, scary idea that should never be put anywhere near the Magic Kingdom.

That was a different attraction that eventually became the basis of AE. Nostrumo wasn't going to be built where AE was. Indeed, not in WDW.

that would have been an AMAZING addition to Hollywood Studios though... a perfect fit for the edgier park.

Would love to see something to do with Tron in Tomorrowland. Wouldn't care whatever if it is even a port of the Shanghai Ride and scrap the Monsters Inc Laugh Floor with Stitch or just something completely different in total.

This seems abrupt even by Disney standards. Serp hinted at this around Halloween but claimed he knew too little to say more than the next few weeks would be telling for Ralphs future. . .

Oh man, it's really exciting to hear the ride won't be an uninspired simulator from a movie that doesn't, imo, belong in Tomorrowland.
Even though Stitch is dated, it and AE were a pretty cool, if not poorly executed idea/concept.
I would like to see someting with the same kind of ingenuity and imagination/originality to take that space.
