WDW 45th Anniversary

So...was that the extent of the festivities? I mean, I know we shouldn't expect too much for the 45th but still the show was a bit underwhelming

Eh, I'm just here for the fun. Plus a new shirt for my collection. I got the passholder one. Pretty snazzy.

Same, the 45th was just the incentive that made me choose this weekend to come up. Also going to see the MSEP one last time here in WDW.

Though at some point in the middle of the day I've gotta hop over to Epcot just for a minute or two so that I can check off another day I've been to the park during the F&W festival to get the free passholder mug

I've been going for almost 30 years to the WDW. In the last 10 days I've never encountered so many issues with the reliability of the monorail system. Unfortunately that's the memorable aspect. Along with the "random" and completely pointless additional security checks.

Ive been going for more than 30 and I found exactly the same things it's why I gave up the AP I had forever last year. Still have my DVC but even there the cracks are showing.

Thanks! Here is the map they're giving out today. Only crappy part is the 45+ minute line to get 45th anniversary merch at Emporium

Just left. It's real busy. Ferry boat at TTC backed up to the Resort monorail entrance. Trams coming in 100% full. Hero side full all the way back, including Rapunzel and Mupan. I parked in Mulan 139 at 8am. Line solid out of parking lot and to toll Plaza. Past Plaza isn't too bad.

I just have to laugh at that old Modern Marvels special where they touted how the monorails were so reliable that on the worst day they would be at 99.1% efficiency.
