It's more wishful thinking than anything. WDW1974 mentioned earlier that some frontline Entertainment DL Cast Members said to expect a big announcement today, some are thinking of asking the Ambassadors during the Q&A

No one is sure that there will be announcement during said live chat. In fact, I'd be surprised if there was. Something like this would warrant its own DPB post I'd think.

all of this seems to be coming/changing fast... it's hard to say what will happen and when... I'm as shocked as most people with what I've heard but with Disney these days that doesn't necessarily means it's 100% happening or not happening either

Minor seasonal changes for a running show isn't quite the same level of announcement as a "new" nighttime parade for WDW. Anything is possible, but if such an announcement was coming, I'd expect it to come out on its own.
