Probably a good move - even if they have classes on Monday, you won't miss anything critical. We are already getting calls from the electric utilities out east asking for crews...
That's what we figured. Parents, especially Mom, didn't want me getting stuck here. And classes on Monday are cancelled anyway as predicted so residents may move in. So it was the right decision.

Cat won't be happy...

@donaldtoo how did it go with your doc? I hope there's an easy fix!

A bit perplexing, actually...
Never even saw the doc. Saw her NP and PA instead. The PA seemed very unsure 'cause of all the different locations the pain and swelling is. She ruled out infection 'cause there was no heat at the sites, and I'm not running a fever. She sent me off with some anti inflammatory samples, and then down the road to a lab for a blood draw to check uric acid levels.
A bit disappointing... :bored:
Anyway, the lab results may not be back before the weekend, but, she said she would call tomorrow regardless to see how I was doing with the anti inflammatory.
I was 5th in line at the lab, and by the time they got to me I was in a lot more pain.
I'm much better now that I'm at home with my legs up in bed. :)

Thanks for asking...! :)

I think that might have been a good call by the PA. Give you some relief and see what the blood shows just to make sure. Good luck and I hope you sleep well.

Thanks, Figgy! :)

Yea, I was just really hoping for a more definitive answer. Very painful hobbling is something I never like to experience, much less for this long. So frustrating.

Yep, hopefully the meds help me to get more than about 3 hrs. of sleep, like last night.
I just couldn't find a good position. Finally, I noticed the pain was less on my back, but, I don't normally sleep on my back, so I tried propped up against the headboard. Probably would not have even gotten the little sleep I did any other way.
