in other news.. I'm furious and also worried.
My mom got a new car mere weeks ago..
and some ahole just rear-ended her new car, because the dbag was probably going way above the speed limit and talking on phone.

My mother seems to be ok and is now waiting for my sister in the repair center of Nissan.

Not amused.. as a car hit can pretty much nail 20% of the car value in an instant.. even if its just dents..
and it was a NEW CAR with special proximity sensors for her.

Sympathy like for your mom. The important thing is she's ok. Get her checked by a doctor just in case as she's not 25!

Sorry about the car. Your mother should be checked out, if the hit was hard. Sometimes it takes days before whiplash appears.

She didnt appeared worried or hurt on the phone, but then.. I'm partially deaf.. I hope my sis can help her.

I also hope the dbag stopped or was detained.. so he pays for the damage.

Worse I can think of is.. the dbag running away, leaving my mother hurt.. (because of her bad back), car paid by insurance but still she had to pay both the medic and a fraction of the repairs..

My mother just got back. She didnt get rearended, she got sidehit (almost t-boned) by a clueless ranch boy with a pick up.
He made a stupid U turn as my mother was passing and he clearly lost control of the car...
Luckily.. the boss of the kid was nearby and he paid everything.
My mother seems ok.. but we will have check on her.
Car was pretty dented on one side (rear door, driver side) as the kid hit square the rear tire area.

Nissan claims they will get everything fixed as new. ( I hope so..)

Steamed broccoli is one of my favorite veggies. Throw some melted cheese on it, even better. Even better than that...broccoli cheese soup.
Broccoli cheese soup is 3rd in line, with French onion taking the next spot, and my grandmothers and mothers homemade chicken noodle soup taking the #1 spot...!!!!!

Good that you will get the car fixed. I'm worried about your Mom, a side hit is really bad. I speak from experience, I was a passenger and was T boned on my side of the car. I had to be cut out of it. I now have my collar bone up near my neck. The guy sued us. He ran a stop light. Don't let that happen to you or your dear Mother. The guy didn't win, but it was a hassle none the less.

Okay, I'm hungry now. And I am eating pretzels, and 7 up. Tummy troubles. I suspect I caught a virus as this appeared after the horrible headache. Darn those bugs this time of year.
