It just finally shot up to 32 degrees here in NC. Waiting for the AC to kick in.

I did the free update and a few weeks later had to factory reset back to 8.1 . It is a common problem with the free update. you may not get the same problem but make sure you have backed up all your files etc before updating .

Thanks, hubby does back ups for me. I don't know if I want him to change it, so I'm good for now.

Meatloaf without meat is actually just a loaf. None of the laws apply although in my opinion a loaf made out of veggies probably requires more ketchup then is currently being produced.

Makes me think of my upstairs neighbor. There are two adults up there, neither one of them leaves the apartment on most days yet they do 2 or more loads of laundry per day. Are they taking laundry in? How can two people, no kids, have that much laundry to do everyday? It's nothing that bothers me other then curious. I just don't see how unless they are doing one piece at a time. File this post under trivia.

I was at IKEA Schaumburg where I buy my palm tree's each spring. They got their first new shipment in this week $11.

I always have 5 of these in my yard over the Summer/Spring.

When do you set them out? I'm assuming that it's after the last frost. I love this idea, would be nice to look outside and feel like I'm somewhere south.

Have people never heard of water conservation. No one needs to be that damn clean. As I type this I can hear their washing machine chugging away. Shouldn't bother me, but, all that waste of water seems many levels of wrong and unnecessary to me. OK, minor rant over!

Have people never heard of water conservation. No one needs to be that damn clean. As I type this I can hear their washing machine chugging away. Shouldn't bother me, but, all that waste of water seems many levels of wrong and unnecessary to me. OK, minor rant over!

I get where you are coming from. Hubby and I have the lowest water usage in our neighborhood, our bill tells us that. I only run the dishwasher 2 times a week. Laundry, once a week, and it has to be a full load.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Something tells me heavy snorers wouldn't hafta' worry about that, though.

Something tells me you are referring to me. Here is your advice for the day...."neither a borrower , nor lender be". I should have known better to not take my own advice.
