I dont understand, you never stayed to see the entire parade?

No, I'm not a huge fan of parades, so I don't mind missing them. I'm more into the rides and general atmosphere. Plus, I didn't want to leave when everyone else is leaving the park. But maybe when I stay overnight down there again I'll stay until the end.

I just tried to get my information on american airline's website.. and they said my flight was canceled.. and I'm now.. WHAT THE HELL.
We were charged, and not got any call at all!
not email.. nothing!!!

Can you imagine if We lose this flight? my entire plans will be destroyed :/

and DVC do not accept refunds!!!

yes but their website says that the flight is outright cancelled... this is bull!!!

I was replying to the person who said "nowadays everything is so PC" as if The Wiz had just come out. Yes, monkeys was a racist term and they turned it on its head by calling them warriors instead, since the whole musical is about black power. I don't think "politically correct" was even a thing at that point.

But, but, they were actual monkeys and in this case were warriors. How could that be politically incorrect in that context? Many words have double meanings, but, that doesn't mean that there was any intent to belittle anyone by calling them by their actual name. However, I have never seen The Wiz so I'm just guessing and curious I guess.

I even got SMS messages when things changed with Continental...
I dont trust US airlines anymore :/

Unfortunately, as consumers we have to be more vigilant because it's so easy for major corporations to just throw up their hands and say "oh well, we can't do anything about it!"

Well, American Airlines just did that.
They claim they knowledge there was someone who entered their system and processed the cancellation.
now they refereed me to the vendor (edreams ) to call and see what the hell is going on.

Every company we've ever worked for that had a Christmas party has always allowed us to bring a spouse/significant other/date along.
I've always enjoyed hers and she mine.

My hubby's firm had a pot luck for employees only.

Wow, I have nearly 100 pages to catch up on!! That's going to take a while!!! The good news is that the busies are pretty much behind me now. I have to work tomorrow night, but I have nothing during the day, and Saturday I have a concert, but that's it. So I should have TIME to catch up! Yay!!

Glad that you are coming back. I understand it's hard to keep up. But, we all love the more the merrier!

Over 20 years ago, I accidentally sliced deep into the tips of my middle and ring fingers on my left hand with a bow saw.
Needed stitches, and the scarring definitely, and permanently, altered my fingerprints on both fingers. Plus, even after all these years, both fingertips are still noticeably numb.
Great for playing the guitar, though...!

I've got numb areas too. And some of my skin is black. But, I was lucky....I put the area back in place. And bandaged tight. It looks like it is starting to stick together. I wouldn't recommend my treatment, but I'm one tough cookie. I expect it will be hard when my "time" comes. As I've said before my Aunt's lived to 100 or close to it. We are a stubborn bunch!

I've made some, too...fun to do if you have the time.

We did that when first married and very poor. It was great fun for me.
