And how many childhood stars just disappear within a few years? Showing up late to an event like this that is on a strict timeframe is a nail in a coffin. Even the Bieber showed up ontime to WDW.

My dad has a thing with giving high end kitchen knives as gifts. He gave me about 15 of them...Hinkles (however you spell it), etc...then he brought more over when he visited when DD turned 3, so I had like 25 of them, gave some to my in-laws, some to my friends. Then when I went home for my brother's wedding 5 years ago, he only gave me 3, which I was able to pawn off on my cousin. 2 years ago when I went, he gave me 13. So I sent 3 to my best friend and gave the rest to another friend who didn't have any GOOD knives. These are the kind that cost 100 bucks for a chefs knife and 60 for a paring knife. So I have about 8 of various shapes and sizes, smooth and serrated, in my kitchen and a whole container for the ones I don't have room for and don't need, because I've outfitted everyone I know with them and no one needs any more. And I'm sure when I get there next summer, he'll have a new load for me and I'll have to find someone else to unload them on. I sent 7 to my best friend's daughter last year because she is going to culinary school next year..she just graduated. If you ever need good knives, I can totally hook you up.

If you have extra send them my way thnx I love that my dh's grandfather always sent us a really good knife for gifts. We miss that now that he's gone.

I just read a TR of someone who's there now, basically bashed F&W, saying it's like a "spring break drunken frat party". Does it seem like that to you as well @ajrwdwgirl?

My dh also heard that from a guy he works with. BTW he's the guy he works with most likely to be found at a drunken frat party. That's so sad. We're still trying to figure if we should upgrade to AP's so we can do a weekend at F&W and go for the opening of Avatarland but a few more reports like that and he won't want to go for F&W.

So there was this squirrel eating fruits off of a tree right next to my bedroom window. Cute little fella, but I'm not sure if those fruits were meant to be eaten!

I wouldn't worry wild animals are pretty smart.

I have to say the knife I cut myself on, was a new one. Longer and serrated. I wasn't used to using this kind. So hubby is doing the chopping right now.

I love the tree up on Thanksgiving. Hubby says no Thanks!

My dh doesn't like the tree up or my snowperson collection out until the day after Thanksgiving either He'd rather do black Friday shopping than decorate

Do you fry 'em, boil 'em, or grill 'em?

Mostly grill in the summer and boil in the winter. My dh will grill or BBQ no matter the weather

Good morning and it's pretty good. It could be a bit warmer but the wind is gone and the temps are above average so I'm going out walking later I just love the warmer temps so far this fall Sorry @MinnieM123 but you got the last 2 years of frigid temps so I guess it all evens out in the end

Agree, considering how little real meat the sausages have...
most of them are viscera, grease, fillings, etc..

Most of the sausages in my house have no meat at all I am going to make one dressing with real sausage on thanksgiving. And seeing I corned the market on pork butt I'm making it myself

I'm sure you would be shocked to hear that I watched a couple episodes and I didn't like it. Too much like a soap opera. Though I do want to watch some Hollyoaks one day. But perhaps I'll try again one day because of all the Britishness.

You're right--there is a soapiness to it, and I was only half interested when the show began earlier this year, for the first few episodes. However, it pulled me in later with some unexpected plot twists; it got a lot better as the show progressed.

I did almost nothing all day.

It was pretty boring excepting the Internet.

When I was growing up, I was told that Sunday was a day to rest. I still somewhat subscribe to that lovely theory, although as an adult, I also need extra time to get things done. But I still usually kick back by Sunday afternoon and evening and just watch tv, read the Sunday newspaper, etc. What I really wish is that I could work a 4-day work week, and have three days off. I'd love to have a full day of doing absolutely nothing!

Who is Ariana Grande? Singer I gather. music so horrible now a days, I tend to block it out.

I don't think she's worth waiting 3 hours for . . . but that's just my opinion. Personally, I wouldn't wait 3 hours for any performer. I think that (some) performers, down through the years, have pulled the long wait scenario; and until people walk away and don't put up with it, it will continue from (some) performers. I'm not saying that it was intentional on her part, as I don't know her or her business entourage. I'm just making a general statement of my own.
