So glad to hear you are getting better. Hope you are having a nice week-end.
Thank you! I managed to have some fun. I finally went through my entire fabric stash. Now all I have to do is figure out what to make first after embroidering towels for my mom and my MIL. I'm thinking about a nice warm fleece jacket as my dh took the boys out yesterday looking for some computer stuff. I wrote down the pattern numbers I wanted so he picked them up at the fabric store as they were on sale and I'm stuck inside. I can't wait for the day after Christmas to get sewing. I must have 20 projects I want to get to :joyfull:

Thank you, with just the two of us, we don't leave a lot of stuff around. This was one of my first paintings, I did years, ago. I like to change décor around the holidays, makes the season fun. Many of these things I have collected over many years. I used a throw on the table from Ikea, it was only 19.00$. I thought that was a bargain, for a table covering. Thanks for the compliment, on the painting.
You're quite talented! Have you ever considered selling some of your work?

Out for today. Nice chatting with you all. I'm off to make baked beans, to go with black forest ham, and thinly sliced apple sandwiches, plus cheddar cheese for hubby. :hungry:
One of the few things I like about fall is all the yummy apples:joyfull: I got a bushel at the farm market Saturday and yes I wore one of those silly surgical masks. No reason to share the wealth. (germs)

Thanks! They were fun to make, which is good, because I ordered stuff to make more. I have lots of Potter-loving friends, so I'm going to make them as gifts. @figmentfan423 , I can make you some if you'd like. You, too, @MinnieM123 I don't remember if you were a Potter fan or not.
Snich earing as gifts is brilliant. My dh already got me a pair for our trip, he had to tell me because I showed him your pics and put the supplies on his shopping list yesterday

I have been fighting this darn cold for over a week but then this afternoon, I just fell asleep without much warning and slept for like 4 hours and am finally starting to feel a lot better. I had tried to rest all week but had trouble sleeping because I can't sleep very well when I'm all stuffed up. The body knows what it needs!
I hope all the germs went bye bye

Take care, I posted before you went to the Doctor. Please do what he says. The bugs out there can be really awful. Good wishes to you for a really good night's sleep. I hope you aren't on here until about 10 A.M. tomorrow.
I got quite a bit of sleep yesterday, but I have to kick every body out today, so it's up at the usual time. I am feeling much better but a bit loopy. I'm still trying ti figure out why I'm on a seditive:confused:

We had our first hard frost this morning. I know what is coming next! :cautious: The snow blower is all really for duty and the snow chains have been repaired and are now on the tractor. I figure if I'm all ready for snow, then maybe we won't get any for a while longer! :joyfull:
I do hope you get lucky. We had a hard frost followed by a warm up to summer like temps. We we're having a light frost now to be followed by temps in the 60s later today.

I will. It also made me graph a process for improving the system (note: although I am good with computers, I am not an IT person, so take what you will from this). I stuck with 3 FPs per day for the sake of the exercise, but added an option to select two parks per day. I also had it change it so you're not forced to book 3 per day. I also had it do preferences so that more experienced guests can book the times individually instead of having them listed as Option 1, Option 2, etc. (I know when I book FP+s, I select one option that works for me for one attraction and then fix the other two). I also had it put the date selection, park selection, and party selection on one page. I figure fewer clicks=fewer errors.

The technology actually working is a separate issue.

Also, reading these boards has helped with school work multiple times. Whoda thunk?

I think you should go for your PhD in Disney!!!

Walts face on one side swelled up today. Side of his snoot and up towards his right eye. Like this big ball that kept growing. It is coming down now but what the heck.

Hmm . . . some sort of hystemic reaction? With a person, Benadryl is often taken for something weird like that, but with a dog, I'm clueless. Wonder if he got some sort of bite from a bug? Anyway, I'm glad to hear that the swelling is subsiding. I hope he'll be o.k. today.

Seeing I'm stuck inside today:( I figured I'd go through my fabric and do some designing.. So far I found a pattern for a halter dress that would be cute with a white one white top (I already have the fabric) with Mickey or Minnie embroidered on it and a polka dot shirt (need to buy that fabric, I have a coupon good until Wednesday:):):)) I'm thinking about shirring some of the white fabric with elastic thread so I won't have to fumble with a zipper while on vacation. I also found some pre quilted red, green and gold plaid fabric which would only need a nice lace or eyelet trim to make a tree skirt (my old one is falling apart). I can't wait until tomorrow as I feel pretty good but my dh and doc insist on me taking it easy today:mad::mad::mad:

@betty rose , I'm curious about the picture you painted for your livingroom. Did you set up "props" and display them the way you wanted them to appear in your picture, (and then paint them); or, did you draw your picture out of random thoughts in your head?
A little of both, I used real eggs, and rolling pin, the spilled flour came out of my head, it is more of an impressionist style of painting. I always have loved the impressionists paintings. But, I do like to convey a certain feeling in my pictures. Thanks for asking. If no one cares, I'll have hubby take a couple more pictures of my impression of Colorado, shortly after moving out here. Those paintings also were a depiction of several areas around Colorado.

You should take time for yourself. You work far too hard. I couldn't do what you do in twice the time. Hope each day gets better. Don't try to come back to full speed, you don't want to pick up something else. Take care.xoxo @figmentfan423.
