I like your style already! I see each new week that way. Yesterday, I spent more time thinking about how I'm going to try to look more closely for the joys in the little things in life and share them with others. I find I end up spending my time getting sucked into other people's negativity (not here but in general).
That's kind of on point with something that my husband and I have been discussing with the holidays fast approaching. There are certain people that we've had in our lives for years and now we spend time with them out of habit rather than because we enjoy it. We're so busy, more and more all of the time because our kids are starting to have more activities and there's just so much to juggle, not just with the kids but with other family and both of us working. It just seems silly to give up personal time out of obligation to people who we've outgrown, even if we do have history with them. Holiday time is when I always feel spread the thinnest, trying to do all of those traditional things just because you always have and it's expected......trying to keep the peace on both sides of the family......trying to make things perfect (magical) for the children. In the midst of all that I don't have the energy to keep giving to relationships with people who are just a negative drain. It's one thing when someone is going through a bad time and needs support from friends and family.......quite another when they continuously cause their own problems and show no signs of changing.

Well, for one, the new building is not in our neighborhood. We won't have a school in our neighborhood at all, except for the special ed school. So I'll have to take the kids by bike to the new school and as it is, it's on a very busy street and there's no crosswalk or light...not safe. And DS has motor skills issues and can't ride a bike well and is not allowed on the busy streets (physical therapists instructions/rule,) so getting them to school is going to be a REAL hassle. 2nd, the new building will merge a couple of schools, making class sizes much larger, and the children who go to the other school are from an area where kids are...not very well behaved. There is a LOT of swearing, bullying, etc and it's bad enough at the school my kids go to now. When they merge the two, it's going to get worse.
Sympathy like and good luck xoxo

@Sabrina D do you have a pre-trip report posted? I'd love to hear all about your plans!
No actually I've never done one. Maybe I'll try to put one up tonight. I have all of the ADRs and FPs done and a plan for each day. This is an adult trip (My girls are going on a special trip to Montreal with my inlaws that week) so the focus will be a little different. For example- Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique OUT........... Trader Sam's IN.

We're staying at Yacht Club so I'm sure that we'll walk to Epcot every day. One of the couples that we're traveling with has never been to Disney so hopefully they're practicing up for a lot of walking, a lot of eating, and a lot of laughing :)
