Just wanted to share with you and others that I saw a daytime tv show today, called The Chew on ABC, at 1:00 (Eastern). All this week, they are broadcasting live from WDW. (I was home today so I was able to see it.) Today they were in EPCOT for the Food and Wine Festival. It was a very entertaining, light-hearted show. They had some cooking lessons, as well as some footage from The Land, where one of the hosts got a private tour, and got to pick the veggies he wanted to cook for the show! They had a lot of park guests in the audience, and I'm not sure how you get a ticket (or whatever) to go see them.

I have PVRed this and have it set to record all week. I'm just finishing up The View but moving on to The Chew next.

I was driving my DD to a very rural interview about this time last year and a portion of the trip was on 66. That old section of road, though well maintained is just a different bird. Also why I didn't want her driving it the first time on her own.
And no I wasn't a Helicopter Mom, I had her drop me off at a coffee shop before she reached the University. Then we drove another hour so we could visit her old University.

Watching today's The Chew from Epcot. They are eating Mickey Waffles and talking about their visit of the parks so far. Spaceship Earth is in the background. I am so excited just watching this. I so want to be there right now! Going out of my skin.

Win as in winning the football game.
When the Cubbie's win they pull up the W flag so the neighborhood knows. It has moved throughout the entire Chicagoland area with some people. Can't go far without seeing a W flag at least if you're a Northsider.

I liked it when they also caught the monorail going past Spaceship Earth in the background. They picked a nice location in EPCOT for The Chew stage.

Waiting for you, perhaps . . . but, it's already happened where I work. They don't call the Christmas tree a Christmas tree--they call it a holiday tree . . .
Oy. Holiday Tree seriously. We always had a Christmas Concert but that got slightly dicey too, treading on thin ice we were. But Christmas Carols are fun to sing. So the compromise was to sing holiday songs from all cultures and religions with a few Santa and Snowmen songs flung in for good measure. That seems to have made our legal team more comfy.

Yes. They are in a gorgeous location.
I'm watching now as they go through The Land.

That was an excellent compromise. I was just watching the local news and one school district was under pressure to ban a traditional Halloween parade (where all the kids would get dressed up in costumes), because of a number of families with various kinds of religious or other beliefs against Halloween. The parents who want to keep the Halloween parade are fighting back. Should be interesting to see how all this pans out. As I've said before here recently, sheesh, I'm glad I'm not a kid now . . .

Brave maybe not. But I've learned I must face my fears and embrace @Goofyernmost train of thought or I'd miss out on so many opportunities to spit coffee at my laptop screen.
