"If you’re a fan of drinking your coffee black, prefer the taste of dark chocolate to milk chocolate and have an affinity for gin and tonics, you may, in fact, be a psychopath. Okay, maybe you’re not a full on sadist, but you might have some questionably psychopathic tendencies.

New research from the Innsbruck University in Austria has found a troubling correlation between a fondness for bitter tastes and antisocial personality traits. Those who enjoyed bitter tastes were more likely to exhibit behavior that could be categorized as psychopathic, Machiavellian, sadistic and narcissistic — yikes"

Well, you're mentioning normal shows. I was thinking we were only talking about "animated" shows.

meh for example.. I'm enjoying DARK MATTER (new scifi series which just finished its first season). good change since the terribly disappointing of FALLING SKIES. Cant believe how much they ruined that show.
The Last Ship, Grimm and Being Human are good for those who like the not usual comedy or action dramas.

Oh sorry. Didn't mean to hijack the conversation.

Happy Leif Erikson Day
Happy Canadian Turkey Day

Some people are calling it Indigenous Peoples Day. That's stupid. Apparently Native American Day is too un-politically correct for them.
the question.. is who are calling it too "unpolitically correct" ?
Social warriors? or the natives?
I know sometimes the social warriors exaggerate and nothing makes them happy.

You still live in a huge country.I can drive around my island in less than an hour and thats with a speed limit of 35mph.kinda freaked us out the first time we got directions in Florida and down the road turned out to be a 20 minute drive.
HA! Yeah, where I come from (originally) we measure distances in time, not miles. Distances are so great there that even to go to the next town over takes 45 minutes. We call it rush hour if there's more than one car on the road. There are more Antelope on the road than cars. There are more cattle than people. So this feels really tiny here. But I looked it up, and you're right...your country is much smaller!

Well, each weekend morning before I go out, I also have a small container of plain yogurt, so it's not like I'm only eating 1/2 donut. If I didn't have something else with 1/2 donut each morning, I'd be hungry and reach for something else--which would defeat the purpose.
Do you add anything to the yogurt? I can't eat it plain. I eat blueberries and oats in mine, with a bit of sugar...otherwise I can't choke it down, and that's what I eat every morning.
