Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Wrapping up Day #3:
We headed out to MK at 4:00'ish, parking at Fort Wilderness Campground and taking the boat over.

With 15 minutes to spare, we made our Peter Pan's Flight FP+. Stand-by was at 90 minutes. As it was, the ride was down for a good 10-15 minutes, making FastPass less fast than usual.

While I enjoyed it, I had to agree with Jordan's comment, "Boy that ride is really showing its age".
I didn't think so last November, but I sure did today. Insert sad face. :(

From there we immediately used our FastPasses for Space Mountain. Good fun, but thank God I wear a decent bra, 'cause that ride is pretty rough. Maybe that's part of the charm, but I'm getting too old to have my fillings shaken out of my teeth.

Next we did 15-minute stand-by Haunted Mansion. Gen was surprisingly unimpressed.
Somebody (not necessarily saying it was me) screamed when the lights went out in the stretching room, and sent some little kid into screaming hysterics. Again, not saying it was necessarily me. And certainly nobody other than Jordan and Mike suspected this passive-faced middle aged woman.

A little bit of Adventureland Shopping, and then FastPasses for Jungle Cruise. Our skipper implemented every known wisecrack.

Gen's new obsession:

After, I insisted on walking barefoot on the new Hub turf:

And then, I might just have laid on it:

Three comments:
1) Excuse my lack of ankles. They have been MIA since Saturday night.
2) That's not dirt, that's a tan line.
3) The turf was surprisingly much softer than it appeared it would be.

On our way out to the boat launch, we went in a few shops. Ski enjoyed watching the glass blower, while Gen purchased another Pandora charm, and I got my Haunted Mansion Dooney & Burke. It will be delivered to the resort tomorrow, so no pics 'til then.

Next up - Hoop Dee Doo Review.
(Probably not until tomorrow, as we have an early'ish morning and Hubby is already asleep.)

I skipped Space Mt. this trip. My wife hasn't done Space in more than 10 years.

Btw the FP windows are really 80 minutes. If it says 4:15-5:15 you can use it between 4:10 and 5:30.

Not always, it depends on the crowd and the lack of mechanical problems. It's better to stay in that time and not take a chance on that extra 15 minutes.

Here's what Touring Plans says:

Each FastPass+ ride reservation lasts for an hour (reservation windows for shows may be shorter). Thus, if you make a FastPass+ reservation to ride Space Mountain at 7:30 PM, you have until 8:30 PM to use it, or change it to something else. Just like a restaurant reservation, your FastPass+ may be canceled if you don't show up on time. (In practice, you can usually be up to 5 minutes early or 15 minutes late to use your FastPass+ reservation. Our Disney World touring plan software knows this, and takes advantage of it occasionally.)

We were always able to go 5 minutes early. I don't remember if we ever tried the extra 15 minutes. As you say it's probably best not to count on it.

Kind of related - we were with my cousin and her husband and we had 7DMT fastpasses from 2-3 and they had from 5-6 and we forgot (actually I forgot as I was the one who made all the FPs) and we all got in line together at 2. When my cousin scanned her band the CM could see that it was for later but went in the computer and adjusted the time so we could ride together. When we got to the second checkpoint their times matched ours. I thought that was pretty cool they adjusted it so we could all ride together.

For the fantasy footballers out there, who would you pick if you had the first selection? I wont know the order until a couple hours before we draft, but I'm very undecided on the first pick, should I get it.

Hubby says - even though he's suspended, Le'Veon Bell, Steelers.

Bell, Lacy, or Jamaal Charles will be the first to go. Probably Adrian Peterson too, but I ain't dealing with him after the way he screwed me in my ESPN league last season.

Bell will make up for his suspension after the first few weeks. But those are the other two good options if you don't want to risk your first few games.

I was thinking those were my top 3 should I get a top 3 pick. I've been leaning towards Lacy as my #1. But if I get the 3rd or 4th pick and Bell is still there, I'd choose him. The only reason I'm hesitant on Lacy is because Rodgers and the passing attack for Green Bay. Whereas KC has a weaker passing game. I'm placing Peterson as my 5th RB, just because of the uncertainty.

Charles with Davis as a handcuff in case he gets injured is a very reliable RB1. Him and Bell will be your dream options. Just make sure to plan beyond the first 4 picks. Being last requires a lot of preparation. Being first isn't fun during even rounds also. Especially in big leagues.

I'm going through and doing my rankings right now. Our league has 8 people. Right now I'm doing position rankings and will eventually do an overall draft board. I also have a layout of how I would like to draft (at least according to the research I've done). But who knows how my friends are going to draft. Some of them barely know who any of the players are, so they'll probably just go by straight pre-rankings on ESPN. I can see one going full home-team. I actually think I'm going to be the one doing the most planning.

The home team guy will have a lot of fun on their bye week.
