Well, we're back from the coast.
Sooooooo very much did not want to leave. Such a short trip, but, it could have been no trip at all, and we are thankful.
Really could live down there year 'round...! :)

Just a little more Port Aransas cheesiness before I call it a night. I really love that place, and will post some more general pics tomorrow. Thanks for indulging me, gang...! :)

My dh came home a bit early and screwed up my plans for spending the entire afternoon at the pool. He came home with a coupon good for every pair of footwear you bought . So off to do sneaker shopping we went, my dh also got something to use at a pool and probably use for our water park days next year. He's not a fan of the pool, so they'll still be in good shape and after taking a look at my sneakers I also got a new pair. My little guy's feet have to stop growing soon or else! They're already bigger than mine! I swear next year I'm just going to strap the boxes to his feet! At least he found a pair he likes a bit loud for my taste but he likes them. While we were in the neighborhood we also did a bit of clothes shopping for James, he just turned 13 and already needs to buy some of his clothes in the men's department. I almost bought a Snow White shirt for me but it was about the same price as the ones at Disney so I'm going tuck away an extra gift card and find one I like even better. At least I made out very well at the farm market, we'll be eating tomatoes and peppers but the bucketful this week! We did finally make it to the pool and had a great time.

That's how I feel about Walt, wouldn't trade him. My loyalist Pup to me was Jethro Bodine but Walt is by far the funniest and the most quirky Pup I've owned. He can be aloof and his favorite person is my DS and prefers men even though the women tend to his needs and daily attention. But let me leave for a few days like last weekend and he certainly appreciates my return. He is a complicated fella.

It all makes perfect sense to Walt; it's only complicated to you! :hilarious:

Oh my goodness! It's deja vu--when I was a kid, my mother used to take me to those types of "shell shops" at the beaches, too!! We used to love looking at all the pretty shells, and I also remember picking up the conch shells to "listen" for the ocean inside!!
You just reminded me of "shell" hunting on the beach, smelling the salt air, feeling the cool breezes off the ocean, and the warmth of the sunshine. Oh, I wish I lived on a warm sunny beach. Thanks for the memories, @MinnieM123.:joyfull::joyfull:
