I cannot speak for you... but, for me... I got a lot a splainin to do! :angelic:

I had a Brother of Christian Instruction that taught a religion class. He was asked by one of us, sadly not me, but, it could have been, what if he was wrong? This Brother was 80 something years old and his reply was "If I'm wrong then I wasted a lifetime. If I went the other way I would have wasted an eternity." Made sense at the time. He was also famous for his description of eternity to go with that statement. "Picture a huge granite stone the size of the earth. Now every hundred years a small bird would fly over it and brush his wing gently against it. When that granite stone was worn away, that was the end of eternity. Scary stuff for a kid.:arghh:

Yeah my young life was filled with this scary stuff too. I can't as an adult comprehend the whys. Still my kids were raised Catholic too.

I was different than my parents though, I righted the ship with everything they were taught in a Gospel way. I explained to them from young the instructors are just as human as we are, no better no worse with their own spin on interpretations. A belief based on a book and faith that has been interpreted and rewritten so many times with different spins. My teaching to my children was to take away the jest of the passages and not to labor over individual wordings that have been interpreted and translated far too many times to be taken verbatim. It helped. I wasn't into peeps scaring the heck out of my kids.

I'm waiting 2 more weeks just incase, my little guy somewhere between 2 and 3 inches since the end of June :hilarious::bawling::banghead: At least I know where al the food is going LOL

I feel your pain, was there with my man child. 9 inches in a year. He was so thin jeans were difficult to find long enough. The eating though was curbed when he finished growing. Something to look forward to. 'Till then those ManChilds of ours break the food budget, no way around it but to budget more. Me, at least I only had one ManChild, the DD while she had the spurts didn't do the bottomless pit thing.
