When I was little I would be so excited to see The Legend of Sleepy Hallow animated film annually in October. Back in the day, we had to wait to see our favorite movies when they were shown annually like The Wizard of Oz and Watership Down. Memories.
Where I lived it was always shown on Halloween night. Good old Ichabod Crane. That was one ugly dude.

We went to Teppan Edo tonight. The grill at the table where we were sitting was only half working. Half of it was heating up and half wasn't. As a result, we got our own table, own chef, and slightly different show. There weren't enough onions to make the volcano. We got this instead, which I think is 10x more awesome.

Forgot to tell you about Spice Road:

It was actually quite good. We all really enjoyed it. We all agreed that it was better than the other TS restaurant at Morocco. I had kebabs, as did my father, although I had a nut-free version. My brother had chicken kebabs; we had beef and chicken kebabs. My only complaint is that for the price, I think they could have used better meat for the beef kebabs, but I really liked the chicken ones. They came with potatoes, which I think were the highlight. They also were served with green beans. I ate them all, and I normally don't like green beans. My mom had some sort of roast chicken dinner, and she liked it. My parents shared a shrimp appetizer and really enjoyed that as well.

Easy to get into, you could get a walk up at this point. Location is fantastic. We're going to try it again in the future. If you're an adventurous eater and like spicier dishes, or if you want to share several small plates, go ahead and try it. If you're not so adventurous, skip it.

They should do this more often, in addition to the volcanos.

Yeah, when I was growing up we had 4 major TV stations and PBS (which was real sad back then) and one on a different click of the TV I think UHF???? It was good though cause it had some good reruns and did our local TV station, one of the big 4, it also carried, football, hockey and baseball.

When we were married our first place came with Cable, new to us, my Condo didn't have that. When we moved into our first house we got cable $10 a month, expensive but we splurged. Ha! The channel choices didn't go to 100 nor were they all used. That same year we splurged again and bought a VHS player. That puppy was expensive, nearly $500. We wrestled with whether to purchase a VHS or Beta. Everyone told us Beta was better but we went with VHS. Fortunate choice in long run. That $500 VHS player was manufactured so well, it ran well over 20 years without any issues. We were very late to DVDs because of it and only relented because VHS movies were disappearing. We still have a few dual VHS DVD players and drag them out at the holidays to play some old VHS Christmas shows and movies we never replaced on DVD. Now have a smart TV and can see in addition to Netflix I will likely someday drop my Uverse and replace it with Hula.

Times they are a change'n.

When I was a Girl Scout we went camping at a new facility (tents ugh) twice. It was Named Sleepy Hallow. The second time there were horrid thunder storms we rode out in our tents. Yep I was so creeped out. wasn't going back again. That was the end of my scouting career.

I am jealous on so many levels. Teppan Edo is an almost always TS for us, never ever a bad meal and the service has always been excellent and they keep to their ADR times. Love the place. But I have never had the Goofy Onion. That is so cool. Made me smile.
