How was it, catmom46? I have never bought a rice crispie treat in Disney.

So good! I think I still have at least a dozen left, too.

That's okay. I'm a little sensitive I guess to people (especially in my state of Wisconsin) thinking that teachers aren't really working and have an easy job. I know we aren't supposed to talk politics on here, but teachers in my state have been beaten up the last few years by the legislators and governor. No harm done by you though.

Teachers nationwide are so undervalued! Our country values brawn over brains apparently. So infuriating.

I wish you could send your rain over to SoCal! We need it desperately. I just got last month's water bill for our apartment rental building and it was 50% higher due to state reduction requirements! And it's not like usage has increased significantly - if anything it's on the lower end nowadays.

Sympathy like.

Would send y'all some of ours, but, we seem to have finally entered or regular summer hot and dry pattern.
Finally hit 100 yesterday, and we haven't had any rain to speak of in quite some time.
But, at least the lake is finally full, after all these years...!

Cat story:

This morning, I was in my bathroom, and the cat, as usual joined me. For some reason, she likes to jump in the empty bathtub when I'm getting ready. Why? Who knows. What neither of us knew was that there was still water that hadn't drained from the bathtub. There was only about an inch of water, but still. Cat slipped off the side of the tub, fell in on her side, then quickly got out and ran away. You could tell where she went based on the paw prints. Whole side of her was wet

Well cat, that's what you get for going near something known for containing water...

The only ones of those I've ever seen all the way through were the originals and remakes of The Fly and The Thing, the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and the Exorcist.
Haven't seen any of 'em in recent years, except the original The Thing on TCM a few years back.

I love The Thing remake - it's hilarious! A bunch of great actors, too.
