I will be packing for our trip to WDW!! Oh, and maybe go to a block party and watch some fireworks.

I love a good block party. People don't even know their neighbor's in my area. I should correct, we have a very nice couple next door. He is older around my age, and has a lot of tattoos, the neighbor's on the other side, won't even speak to them. And they never met them, why are some people so judgmental? Rant over.

At the London airport, it's been a crazy two weeks. We have walked and seen so much stuff. It was a ton of fun! I have taken a ton of pictures, I will start posting some after the 4th. I'm a little sad to leave but I'm ready to get home. I miss my shower and my dog. I would say dogs but our oldest dog (was my late moms dog) passed away while we were gone. We were kind of expecting him to go soon but it would have been nice to be with him at the end.

I'm glad you will be posting pictures. Never got to go to Europe. I'm looking forward to "living your vacation.". So sorry about losing your older dog, My sympathy.

I see them like crazy here. Doesn't help that every ABC store sells them, and there's an ABC store around just about every corner (seriously, there's two at the Hilton! And one across the street from Aulani!)

The good old ABC store, I loved going there they carried a lot of stuff, Hawaiian clothing, food, coffee. Just a fun place.

I have no idea why you think we are all blaming Abrams for a concept pic. I am definitely not a Trekkie and have no idea what you're going on about quite honestly. My "I blame Abrams" was a tongue in cheek remark on the how he's "trying really hard for his franchise movies to not be similar in any aspect" answer he gave at many SWVII interviews.

Well, like all reboots.. he is pretty much between the sword and the wall.
The wall being the executives and new fans wanting new things.. and the sword.. which are the classic trekkies fans.. which usually want things to stay as "canon" as possible.

my only complain about Abrahams.. is his abuse for lens flare

Well, you know . . . sometimes things just sort of "end up" in odd places and all . . . I can relate; it's scrambled brain syndrome. For example, I hang the fly swatter off the leg of the folded up ironing board.

I love the scrambled brain syndrome, going to use this excuse on hubby!

Speaking of the upcoming holiday, I can't wait to see what @MOXOMUMD has in store for us, for her celebratory picture of the day!! She usually saves the best of the series for the last one!

Oh, I forgot the other good news. I put on one of my shirts the other day that I bought a few months ago and that fit fine at the beginning of the trip...and now it's too big. And then today, I realized that I would have to tighten my clear belt I always wear. So it seems that the increased activity level plus my eating soup basically every day instead of french fries and limiting dessert has paid off!

I love the idea of soup, and limiting dessert...think I'm going to do that and salad, no croutons.

By the way, my relatives here are very religious and they are preparing now for the sabath that starts in like an hour. I'm all dressed for it. Here's a selfie I just took. Notice all my luggage all over the floor. They gave me my own little apartment here with a refrigerator and washer and drier!
