We got here yesterday and hit the ground running, we went tithe louvre, ate awesome ice cream, macrons, and a regular meal, and did the top of the arc de triumphe. Today is the Eiffel Tower for sure! For some reason my phone is being dumb and not letting me upload pictures so I might have to do that from home. Sorry, but don't worry ihave food pictures! Hope you guys are doing well!

Due to today's rain my boys are getting the day off from yard work. My garden could use some of the wet stuff and I'm celebrating all my veggie plants are starting to flower except for my leafy greens!:D After another late start things are finally starting to move along here! I'm going to get some early greens picked for dinner, kale and chard should make a good base for salad tonight. I've already got the beans going for baked beans (yum) and hot dogs are going on the grill (yes the "real" ones with meat LOL) and some veggie kabobs. Now to figure out one more side. Potato salad or sweet potato salad? Hmmmm? Here's to a great day for all!

Yea, just the one short term at that job probably won't be much of a problem (especially if he leaves of his own accord), but, with a coupla' more like that on his resume, the "job hopper" red flag will definitely go up with the vast majority of prospective employers.

Every employment situation is different. However, just my 2 cents here, in that I've had years of longevity in all but one of my jobs. That one job I absolutely hated, but still stuck it out for one year. At a year and a day, I then quit, and moved on to a better job. Again, every situation and employer is different and looking for different things. One of my strong points on my resume and in interviews, was that I had a record of reliability.

I love Lion King. I think the soundtrack is what did it for me, it fit so well into the storyline. Thinking Frozen will be this generations Lion King. While many adore the soundtrack, me I lean heavily to Lion King. The plots are so similar in all these classic Disney films, they know what works, all the Moms dead, kill off or threaten Dad, leave Dad and the main character(s) falls in love. The End. Sound Track kinda makes it or breaks it.

Lion King and the soundtrack are my favorites!!

We have two banks and neither have Dum Dums anymore. :(

One has stick lolly's

and the other has safety pops. I kinda like these though. Just wish green would be lime again.

Both also offer these in the drive through. Sometimes I go to the bank while walking Walter, we walk up to the drive through window with the drawer that pops out of the wall. He has been clunked in the nose more than once waiting for his treat to show up on the tray. :cyclops::D:joyfull:

HAHAHHA!!! WALTER!!! :hilarious:

Meanwhile, I've never seen "safety pop" lollipops. o_O For eons, lollipops have been in a straight stick. Why would some company want to change that? Those need to be recalled, I say!! :p

How big is your garden? Is it the type of garden that you can eat from it all summer long?

Today is my run day and it's raining like crazy this morning. :banghead: I like running in the rain, just not when its raining like sheets. Oh well, missing a day to run is not going to kill me.

O.k. Idiot disclaimer ahead: you've been warned--

I read in a magazine about how you can make frozen yogurt pops. It looked easy enough, so I went to BB & Beyond and bought some (popsicle-style) freezer molds. I then mixed the yogurt, vanilla, honey and 6 oz. of blueberries and 6 oz. of blackberries together. Divided that up into the 6 molds and put in freezer for 8 hours.

Mentioned my frozen treat masterpiece to hubby. He said, "Did you try out the new blender?" ( We had just bought a new Oster blender this past week.) I said, "Huh? What does the blender have to do with my frozen yogurt?" He said, "Oh, I just assumed you'd have blended up the fruit and mixed it into the yogurt."  . . . what??! I was supposed to what??!!) It NEVER dawned on marble head here, that "blend" meant to put the fruit into a blender!!! :jawdrop:

So, 8 hours later, I took out one of frozen treats and the frozen yogurt was tasty and all but the blueberries and blackberries were like these frozen little rocks inside! :hilarious: :hilarious: :hilarious:
