Well, tomorrow is the big day. We have an early morning flight; should get to Honolulu at around 2 pm local time (8 pm eastern time). We're staying at the Hilton for a few days and moving to Aulani afterward. Not sure how good the Wifi is at the Hilton (three years ago it was absolute carp; hopefully it has improved), but I know it's decent at Aulani. So if you don't hear from me other than "Yes, we safely landed" for a few days, that's why.
Interestingly enough, all of us qualify for TSA Pre Check.Don't know how that happened; but we'll take it.
A little nervous, new airline, unfamiliar airport (Salt Lake City), but it's part of the adventure!

I just wanted to let you all know that I won't be on the boards for a couple weeks, hubby and I are off on our Europe trip. When I come back and have readjusted to the time I will post pictures. We will be in Paris, a day trip to Normandy, Disneyland Paris, and London. Everyone behave on here!
Safe travels to you, too! Enjoy every minute of your vacation--we'll all look forward to hearing from you once you return, and can't wait to see your pictures. You took excellent pictures during your last vacation.

My bank still gives them out at the drive through. A few weeks ago when the ATM was down and we needed cash they were in the envelope. Oops were they for they kids who are at least as big as me?
Free lollipops are for children of all ages.

Good grief! That's dreadful. So sorry to hear that your grandparents lost everything in that fire. Of course, the main thing is that they are both safe and sound. But my heart goes out to them, watching their home go up in fire. Sad for your whole family; it must be very stressful for all of you.

And, the training for the Disney Princess 5K has begun...!!!
DWifey, myself, and our 3 kiddos went on a long run/walk tonight.
OK, so they ran and we walked. I did what felt like 6 miles, but, was probably more like 2-ish.
Baby steps...!
I don't think I've ever known of a whole family that would run in a race together. That's really great that you're all training and working toward a goal. As for moi, I hate running. I'll walk for miles, ride my bike, etc. but I think running is one of the hardest things to do. I really admire people who can, though. Hubby is running in a local area, 4th of July race (a 5K as well). Running is part of his regular routine as a boxer, so his weekly routines have a side benefit of preparing him for a few races each year.

I'm with you on that except I'm not going to get a break until Monday! I'm taking Monday off from life! The boys are big enough to fend for themselves for a few hours while I lounge at the pool!TGIF!!!! Weekend here I come!!

Morning. At the airport. Check in and security was a breeze. We board in about 45 minutes. I only got about 2 hours of sleep last night, so looking forward to sleeping on the plane. Will check in later.

We're having some fun cost free vacations!I don't think I've ever known of a whole family that would run in a race together. That's really great that you're all training and working toward a goal. As for moi, I hate running. I'll walk for miles, ride my bike, etc. but I think running is one of the hardest things to do. I really admire people who can, though. That's a great idea. We did those kind of things with daughter, teaches them to budget time and money. Until she got her first car, we charged her 5 cents a mile, to drive ours. She wasn't one to drive aimlessly around.
