Ha! Smart enough to know to flee with the contraband! Love it!

My Shepard for the first 1/3 of her life loved to wander off. She could easily scale the 4 foot fence back then. We had a neighbor with a pup the same age as her that an elderly woman owned. They really enjoyed each others company, partners in crime.

My Shepard would take a running start and leap the fence to her yard. She'd open the gate and the two would take themselves for a walk. The nephew of the elderly woman accidentally found them a good mile away at a crosswalk of a busy intersection waiting to cross the road, he opened the door and they both leaped in.

I tried putting a bolt in the padlock hole, she'd rattle the gate 'till it fell out. I finally started putting a croquet wire wicket through the lock hole and that seemed to stump her. She was such a wonderful dog but at times she was such a challenge.

Ha ha ha!! :hilarious: Dogs have a way of challenging us all the time. I think sometimes they think we're just stupid humans, and they like to mess with us. :D

I am impressed with the new Legoland Hotel with all the reviews, videos and photos that have spilled out from the Media event. The offerings, decor and rooms are imagineered so nicely for all those kids that are addicted to Lego's like my DD was. She would have loved staying at this resort years ago.

Legoland needed to put out there a competitive resort to make it in the Disney/Uni market and it seems they rose to challenge. They knew their target audience. The family suites are themed to nicely.

*Thinks back* to all the money spent on Lego's over those years. :jawdrop:

I think it's really a cute design, and you're right about them nailing it for their target audience. Hmm . . . I wonder what @donaldtoo thinks about this design?

Yea I think a lot of when you go to the parks depends on the hours you keep at home. Morning people have no problem with rope drop while night owls can stay for the evening magic hours. And some people are going from mountain or pacific time to eastern time so there is a time difference.
On some other threads people are talking about how awful the 24 hour party is but this will be my third. I don't go for the dance parties or entertainment I just like being in the MK in the middle of the night. I work graveyard so it's easy for me.
I just don't understand the judgement placed on people for how they do the parks. Why do people care what time people show up?

I love your last sentence. I could never understand why anyone would give a hoot about other people's choices. Each family member, friend, or solo traveler, makes his/her own decision about what's best for them. That's all that matters. People have fun in different ways, and approach the parks with that in mind. As long as people are enjoying themselves, that's all that matters!!

They are gorgeous but you really like them because they remind you of snow right? ;)

Hee hee . . . you know me so well! :p Yes, that really is true that the beauty and awe relating to the Arctic did catch my attention, but more than that, I was just attracted to these somewhat elusive, gorgeous animals after the first photo I saw of one, many years ago. I have a photo of an Artic Fox on my livingroom wall (I also have a lithograph of an incredible painting of a grizzly bear, too). :)

One and a half more hours of work then I get to go home and sleep. We haven't packed at all but we got the ball rolling. Tonight is pizza and Survivor/ Amazing Race while we do laundry. After tonight I have only Monday night to work plus being on call Sunday day. I want to be excited but I'm already getting frustrated with Disney.
They forgot to send the yellow magical express tags for our luggage. Our travel agent called them and they said it's too late to send them but for us to tell the people magical express when we get to the airport and they will locate our bags by our luggage receipt from our flight. Yea right. I don't trust them. I'm going to try to stay positive but not stupid.

That luggage thing is a bit of a dilemma. Would you consider picking up the luggage yourself from the carousel, and then wheeling it over to the Magic Express bus line? I've seen a number of people who bring their luggage with them, and the driver puts it in the underneath storage area of the bus.

That's are plan. We don't trust them with our luggage without the tags. It's sad.

Boo. :( I'm sorry they didn't send you the luggage tags. I know you're frustrated, but I think it's best that you take a little extra time to pick up your own luggage and bring it to Magic Express. At least you'll have peace of mind, and I think that's most important.

Plus, the other good thing is that you'll have your luggage immediately--just in case you needed to get something out of it, before heading to the parks (after your check-in at the hotel). :)

We do it that way because then we know at the airport that our luggage didn't get lost. I'd hate to find out at the end of the day when you get back to the room that the airline lost it...
