I agree with him that there has been practically no change in those parts of the culture. I just disagree with his theory as to why there has been such little change. I don't have my own theory but his just doesn't add up to me. I'm hoping there will be a cultural shift soon thought. But perhaps I should be careful what I wish for. Things could get worse.
Things could always get worse that's for sure. I oddly find that comforting.

I have to bring a little pen light to read the menu. :D But that restaurant , brings back those memories, of sitting in the backseat, looking around mom and dad's heads. While eating something yummy.:hungry:
One year, my kids and I took my parents to Sci-Fi. They were transported back in time to when they were dating! They really liked it. HS is my dad's favorite park because it gets him nostalgic.

My dad loved MGM too. He was addicted to ToT. I think he and I and the boys rode it 7 times in a row. Hubby joined us for two trips. My mom ... not if her life depended on it.
So sad I never got to take him back.

I'm still struggling with what to do for a dinner at HS. We want to hit Fantasmic, so we don't want to go off site to eat. Last time we were at Brown Derby, the service was pretty bad. Prime time isn't bad, but we've done that a few too many times. I quess we're going to pass on Mama Melrose too. So any other suggestions? We're takling Mom with, so we're going to pass on Dine-in Theater too... How bad is the Hollywood & Vine buffet?
We had it 7 years ago. It was very basic. I actually enjoyed it but I would see what everyone else has to say and take the majority. If you need, go on Allears.net and read their dining review. People post there and I find them to have good info.

I liked it.
You can seldom go wrong with a buffet. Not gourmet, but plenty of selection.
Buffets also tend to offer your best chance to fill up on salad and veggies. Gotta get some fibre somehow while on vacation.
That is a very good point. The buffets offer fruits and vegetables that you won't get otherwise while on property or, if you do, they will be expensive like 5 dollars for a pineapple spear.

Oy. I'm telling the dear wifey. :)
Wifey probably knows.

I remember getting a call from the Principal when Son #2 was in SK. Apparently rather than coming in all the way from the back field to use the washroom during lunch hour, he took a leak against a tree.

Not sure what her problem was exactly - he had turned his back to the rest of his friends ... just the way I taught him. :hilarious:
