There are phlebotomist certified specialists. Most employees drawing blood with just keep digging without calling in someone more skilled than they are. I give them one try usually resulting in one bruise, then request the specialist, this also works when they are sticking in an IV.
argh, I know the feeling!

when I was ill I needed to get my blood tested constantly.
And it was a pain. As chemotherapy makes the veins smaller.
It didn't help that some untrained nurse almost killed me when they left my heart-connected catheter unplugged and I started to hyperventilate (I was 10 at the time.. go figure).

I've always wondered why they needed that money too. I guess getting everyone to "chip in", got them to the millionaires status.
its the funny and hypocrital part of the ultra millonaires.
They complain about "communism" and "wealth redistributors" when a lot of them have inverse wealth distribution. Aka use the government to suck the wealth of millions of people, to make them more rich..

They are planters! If your dh is handy he can make them out of Rubbermaid storage boxes. Instructions on youtube. My dh made a few and the plants in them are always very happy!
My husband is not really handy, but I've been the one to work on our dryer and a few other appliances, got those skills from dear dad RIP. I'll give it a shot. Love all the expertise on here. Thank you.

I hope your childhood malady's are behind you. And you are well. It sounds as though you had it rough. :(

My mom's a retired teacher (35 years--fourth grade) and she was telling me any teachers not retiring this year wouldn't get the max amount of benefits because they are being drastically cut next year and the required years for retirement is being raised. So you know what is happening in our school district? 40% of the teachers schoolwide are retiring and next year will see many new faces brought into the system. At my daughter's elementary school, this is the last year for 12 teachers, the librarian and the principal.

That's too bad that all those teachers are retiring, it makes sense for them but your district is losing a lot of experience which is a loss for the the kids. Don't get me wrong new teachers are wonderful and everyone was new once but to lose that many experienced teachers in one year...wow!

Oh, not glad to hear about the food quality. DD picked that as one of our sit down lunches.
It's perfect for lunch. Order a shake and a sandwich or burger, and you'll be fine.

While you don't strike me as an All American Picnic Burger kind of gal (too much sodium), it was divine! Tammy and I split one; each had a shake, and could barely walk out there we were so full.

Skip the fries and go with the cucumber salad instead.

I could go for one of those right now. I eat what I want when on vacation, watch the next few month's before going to Doc. fortunately, the Doc said everything I eat averages over the 6 month's. It's a game my Doc and I play, as he is a Disney fanatic too. How lucky can I get? :D

That picture looks so good. I really miss Disney food when I'm back home.

I'm still struggling with what to do for a dinner at HS. We want to hit Fantasmic, so we don't want to go off site to eat. Last time we were at Brown Derby, the service was pretty bad. Prime time isn't bad, but we've done that a few too many times. I quess we're going to pass on Mama Melrose too. So any other suggestions? We're takling Mom with, so we're going to pass on Dine-in Theater too... How bad is the Hollywood & Vine buffet?

Funny you should ask. I just got off another board about Disney Restaurants. Hollywood and Vine didn't fare so well. I've never been there, but most people thought the food was bland. I'm sure someone on here will tell you about their experience. Good luck finding something your family will like.

I liked it.
You can seldom go wrong with a buffet. Not gourmet, but plenty of selection.
Buffets also tend to offer your best chance to fill up on salad and veggies. Gotta get some fibre somehow while on vacation.
