Yep, we generally carry a small backpack with us, as well, with some water bottles, sunscreen, snacks, ponchos, etc., that we take turns carrying.
Pretty sure that thing has been on every ride we've ever ridden in the Parks too, except probably M:S, which DWifey absolutely refuses to ride, so she watched it. :)
If you fit all those things in your pack you would look like Kim Kardashian

My mom's a retired teacher (35 years--fourth grade) and she was telling me any teachers not retiring this year wouldn't get the max amount of benefits because they are being drastically cut next year and the required years for retirement is being raised. So you know what is happening in our school district? 40% of the teachers schoolwide are retiring and next year will see many new faces brought into the system. At my daughter's elementary school, this is the last year for 12 teachers, the librarian and the principal.
Teachers are a good investment. If only they were treated like one. I'm sorry @MOXOMUMD

Yum.

Breakfast looked so good. Me, not such a fan of Chicken Parm just was never my thing but your breakfast, slurp. I had an amazing skillet for lunch today, veterinarian with a side of link sausage for lunch. Two days in a row DD and I ate out for lunch before she went into work...both days so famished that I neglected pictures both times. 2x the demerits for me. :(
What awful thing did you veterinarian do that caused you to eat her with a side of link sausage?

The opposite - cremated. :(

He was a lovely cat. Just got sick suddenly, stopped eating. I knew he was checking out, based on everything I had read on the Internet.

We took him him to the vet to see if there was anything that could be done to make him more comfortable. The vet said that he really only had 12-24 hours left, and it would be inhumane to allow him to continue to suffer.

We agreed to have him put down. They took him out back and installed the injection line. Brought him back. I petted him until he was purring, and then the vet slowly injected the medication. He was gone in my arms before the needle was even half empty.

And that is the WORST part about having beloved pets. I fear that Holly, at 12 1/2 only has a couple of years left.
As sad as that story is, I'm glad you were there to comfort him.

Doesn't sit well with me either, but I'm biased being a teacher. In a nearby town, the district was/is facing a 2-3million dollar deficient and the answer was reducing staff, giving teachers and other staff pay cuts, and taking away some promised retirement benefits. Many of the citizens at the board meetings were in favor of the pay cuts and taking away benefits. One of the quotes from the newspaper was "if the teachers love their jobs and the children this shouldn't be a hardship for them" I guess that person forgot that the teachers/staff still have their own families to provide for. :( Oh and this district is already remodeling the high school too...Anyway, I'll get off my soapbox now.

Sympathy like. :( And the person who made the comment (that the newspaper quoted) was insensitive and arrogant.

I think Prince Charles is going to be passed over anyway. He agreed to let his sons move forward. He gave them a fastpass!

Well, he really knew how to use the Fastpass + system, by reserving the crown for them, and well over the 180 days timeline; because he's a Prince, he probably had some sort of VIP gold system Fastpass + that allowed him to do this!

Does anyone else feel there has been no noticeable change in music, fashion, or interior design since the last decade? Technology has changed but that's about it. There have been slight changes but it's not like the changes in music and style that occurred during the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's. My professor of American pop culture brought this up but I didn't buy his explanation as to why there have been no significant changes since the last decade.

Interesting observation from your professor; I had to think about this for a while, but I tend to agree with him. Keep in mind, however, that I'm not involved in the music, fashion, or interior design professions. But from my own general observations, I think he's probably right. Perhaps the only way to add some balance to his perspective, would be for him to query people who actually work in those three professions, to get their input.

Sci Fi - food is not great. Too dark. Like being in a space fishbowl. Now if they make a Guardians of the Galaxy restaurant, I'll be the first one in line.

Prime Time - Style is cute but gets old fast. Food is not that great either. For something that is supposed to be homecooking, surely its not. I just don't like the waitresses acting like your 'mom.'
I'm still holding out for a SW themed refurb!

I have 3 tomato plants that have been in the ground for 3 weeks now. One looks a bit goofy but the other two are growing well. Another few weeks I will plant some more. When I am gardening I will eat sweet 100's off the Vine or pull off a large tomato and eat it like an apple. Slurp. :hungry:
I wish I could put my plants in now but my safe planting date is still over 2 weeks away! It's been warm enough to leave them out on my deck to harden off. I'll check the long range forecast around the 15th and go from there!
