On the plus side, I have time for a quick nap.
Later, Peeps.
It so reminds me of mom. Except she cooked her green beans to death with bacon and onion..it was still very yummy to me growing up, when I find a restaurant with that style of cooking, I remember Mom.We'll be dining there during our upcoming August trip.
While not gourmet, I've never had a bad meal here.
I'm hoping my son's girlfriend enjoys the unique atmosphere.
Much of my planning this year was with her in mind. I love taking Newbies on their first trip.
I've been told though, that subsequent trips without me pale by comparison.
Sorry your next trip sucked. You're welcome.![]()
All the tables rotate at G.G.Yea I'm glad! You will love it. Make sure to tell them you want a booth when you check in that way you can spin slowly. I don't think the tables and chairs option revolves.
I wear a f pack every time we go there. IPhone, sunglasses, reading glasses, poncho all fit into it. Keeps everything dry and I don't have to worry about losing anything. I don't care what the fashion police have to say, my sanity is more important than their opinions.Yep, I wore a ***** pack too, and didn't give a rip what anyone thought, and still don't. They're handy dandy.
Then, I discovered cargo shorts. Everything I need goes right in my front pockets/compartments, and it's one less thing to hafta' mess with.![]()
I had to look it up too.I don't know it. Maybe I'll look for it on Youtube.
I'm so glad I was able to stay on long enough to see your beautiful picture. I will think about this before I go to sleep. Good night, all. Sweet dreams, may you find peaceful sleep.
I am very careful not to make fun of names, be they current or old fashioned, because of what happened to me.
Very early in my first pregancy, before we had shared the news that I was expecting, we were at a family barbeque on Hubby's side.
Conversation turned to our having kids and what we would/should name them.
I mentioned that I liked the name "Spenser".
My 6' 4" muscle-bound cop BIL piped up - That's a f** name. Why wouldn't you just tattoo "Kick Me" to his back permanently.
I was devastated!
You see, I was just 8 weeks along, excited beyond belief, and in the privacy of our home, snuggled in bed, Hubby and I had agreed to name the baby Spenser, if it were a boy.
I guarantee you that there are some people here on this forum that love the name "Albert", and may in fact, have named one of their offspring such. Tribute name or not.
So, this Friday we're havin' our annual spring office event. We're goin' to a place called Hill Country Golf & Guitar. It's a restaurant with an upscale mini-golf course and an outdoor live music stage.
The theme is Caddyshack, and we are encouraged to dress accordingly. Also, they decided to show the movie in our main conference room for the last coupla' days during lunch for the youngins' here that may have never seen it before. Could have some fun pics to post later that evening...!!!![]()

True. It is an opinion. Just like we had various members that liked Charlotte yesterday and others did not. I like the idea of renaming oneself as a tribute it is a genuine act that person will own vs having someone else own the tribute. My one pup I adopted came with my fathers name. I renamed the dog.
The books first. Then the show. You clearly noticed the spelling.Just curious: was your selection of his name influenced by handsome, Bob Urich, in the old, Spenser for Hire series?![]()
so pretty, I would hate to eat them...but I would (don't tell the doc!)
I had a cat (RIP - 1998-2012), named Jack.I named my dog, Jack, after my brother, as as esteemed tribute.![]()
He was a shelter dog, so he really didn't have a name when we got him. I'll never forget the night I called my bro and told him the exciting news!
