@StarWarsGirl95 - Tonight's game is expected to be pretty scrappy. Should be fun.
They say that the Jays and O's are swiftly becoming rivals!

That's okay; I know they're just trying to get us back for knocking them out of 1st place in the division last year. :D

Between the two teams' players: definitely. For one, they play in the same division. For another, Josh Donaldson (Toronto's 3rd baseman, for those unfamiliar) and Manny Machado (O's third baseman) have a history from Donaldson's time in Oakland. So that doesn't help.

As far as fan opinion goes...well, at least in my book (and you will find this true of most orioles fans IMO) Blue Jays > Red Sox and definitely Blue Jays > Yankees. Generally, visiting Toronto fans are pretty polite as well. There are exceptions; there was a Toronto fan making a jerk of himself when they came to Baltimore on the 5th. But he was the exception, not the rule. Red Sox fans...very polite in the concourse, obnoxious in the stands, unless there aren't many of them. Yankees fans...there are exceptions, but many are extremely rude. And not just being obnoxious in the stands; like line jumping when getting food, pushing through crowds, failure to use common courtesy (like "excuse me", "please", "I'm sorry I bumped into you", etc.). We get rid of our Yankees tickets a lot of times because the fans don't make it an enjoyable experience. It's sad that they ruin the reputation of their fans when there are those that are polite.

O.k. So I'm curious: do you have anything specific that you do on Earth Day? (Actually, I didn't even know it was coming up, until you started your countdown pix.) I'll probably do what I do anyway, on a work day. I take public transportation so I figure that helps save energy. :)
Nothing specific that we don't already do. We usually take anything we'd saved through the winter to the scrapyard for cash. They pay more for Earth Day.

Today...

It was 68 degrees when I left. As I was driving, all of the sudden it starts pouring and the wind starts blowing. Could barely see and could feel the wind blowing the car. Good thing I drive and SUV since the wind was strong enough to push against it. Got to school, late (even if I had gotten there on time, no way would I have been able to get into the building without getting soaked anyway, so didn't matter) and it has dropped to 51 degrees.

But still better than snow

Pretty sure it's only because they couldn't prove there were any Mexican tomatoes in their ice cream. :D ;)

I'd be tempted to cancel the order. I hope that approach doesn't catch on too widely.

"Would you like to add any children's vitamins?"
"yes - add to cart"
"no - I don't care about my kids' health"

"Would you like to buy an American flag?"
"yes - I am patriotic"
"no - I am a traitor"
One of my big pet peeves is from Facebook. When people post things like Share if you are against Child Abuse, it makes me want to go out and horse whip a 5 year old. So, since I almost never "share" anything, especially if it is socially or religiously motivated apparently I am in favor of child abuse if I don't share it. I'm glad I didn't know that when my kids were young... they probably wouldn't like me today, had I known what an evil person I am.

Or another is when they state that "I am cleaning up my accounts on Facebook, so let me know if you want to continue to converse with me." My feeling, instantly, is, look if you don't want me to have any contact with you then by all means un-friend the hell out of me. It's your decision! If I didn't want to be on your list I would have done that ages ago.

Its actually one of the most common techniques used by spammers.

Guilty tripping is one of these techniques.

Thats how these famous chainmails spread so much.

Also, welcome back @seahawk7

More Fantasmic advice: instead of doing the dinner package, if you cannot get a FP once you've used 3, aim for the later show if there is one. The earlier one tends to be more crowded and features a dumb preshow. Also, plan more than one night to do it if possible. That way, if something weird happens (weather, dragon doesn't come out...yes that did happen once) you have another opportunity to see it.

I agree. My DD and I planned 2 different mornings, early afternoons for her to go to Blizzard in case of rain. We had FPs for our first night to see Fantasmic at the first show but we left another evening at the Studios in case it rained.
We lucked out and both Fantasmic and Blizzard were accomplished on the first date scheduled. There is a pretty good gap of time between 1st and 2nd show of Fantasmic. We left the park to go back to the resort immediately after its conclusion. By the time we got back to our resort and were in the food court it started to rain, the second show of Fantasmic was cancelled.
