no, but they warned it could happen.I can honestly say that after close to 55 years of dealing with, working on and being involved with motor vehicles, I have never heard of that happening even once. Is that a Mexican thing? Color me puzzled!
Wow, that is very unusual. I was pretty sure that motor mounts were what you were talking about, just never heard of a situation where those had a very high failure rate.allright, then... MOTOR MOUNTS!

Dunno, but the car is almost 13 years old now.Wow, that is very unusual. I was pretty sure that motor mounts were what you were talking about, just never heard of a situation where those had a very high failure rate.
Thanks for responding to my question. You were the only one here who seemed to care about my question except for Jennifer asking what restaurants we were going to. After that, crickets. It's hard to say because the situation is different for everyone. We always get the DDP because it works for us and I know it's paid for. You had mentioned your daughter will only be with you for part of your trip? Everyone would be included on the DDP so you would have extra meals she would not use.
I had a snake that was at the bottom of my driveway that just would not go away (and I didn't want it run over) so I picked up a stick and tossed in into the ditch on the other side of the road.![]()

So I thank you for caring enough to not ignore a question I had. I don't have much experience with the dining plan and I trusted everyone's opinion here. Jennifer asked a similar question and got so much information and that's great but I was ignored.
Yes my daughter is going but she is not on our package. So it's just me and my on on the package where I would add the dining plan.
Now I think I'm going to excuse myself from this thread for a couple of days because I'm a little hurt.
Thanks again Moxomund.
Only had one snake in my house ever. That one had the perfect timing to show up the night before my daughters wedding when she had all her brides maids at the house for a sleep over (yea, right) and gab fest. It came in through a basement window that wasn't closed tightly. Fortunately, it stayed in the basement, but, when I went down there to get something out of the freezer, I spotted it. I know that I would have a Sharknado type of situation on my hands if any of the girls saw it.
I didn't have a gun so I grabbed the only faux weapon I had available. It was a square head fireplace shovel used to remove ashes. I came up behind it and proceeded to dice it into a number of small pieces that, comically, each piece, went slithering off in different direction. I then casually (because I'm nothing if not cool) scooped it up and put it in a paper bag and walked it past all the young ladies on the way out to the trash. I told my daughter about it 10 years later.
My dog never misses an opportunity to steal socks, mittens and gloves, and mail. Of all those items, I'll never understand his fascination with paper. He'll run off with an envelope and shred it; we'll find bits and pieces of mauled paper all over the place. Oh, that's the other thing; he doesn't complete his ill-begotten deeds in one spot. He likes to spread out his crimes.![]()
My dog loves socks, she loves to shake them and run around the house with them. My old dog, who passed in January, loved my husband's underwear (gross I know!) he would even dig them out of the laundry basket.
Sorry about the crickets. I didn't respond because I have never had the Disney Dining Plan. We always go out of pocket....Thanks for responding to my question. Yeah, sorry. I was out of sorts yesterday after my little fender bump, and then running around all day today getting another estimate, back to Nissan, more time on the phone ....Thanks for responding to my question. Funny how dogs only like "used" underwear; but wouldn't dream of touching a freshly laundered, perfectly folded pair.My dog loves socks, she loves to shake them and run around the house with them. Update on the freeloading group member:
She sends me this email in response: "No, no you miss understood! It's my dad's schedule, not mine!" And then blah blah blah about all that she's done for the group (yeah, the work I had to fix) and how the professor said everything could be done over email (not that I recall the professor saying this, but we got higher grades when we met). And then my favorite, the guilt trip. "I'm disappointed because I spoke so highly of you to my parents." Oh what carp. Absolute carp.
Have I ever mentioned my hatred of group work? And people?
I'm also glad that @MOXOMUMD could respond to your DDP inquiry. Let me say that the reason I didn't, was because I've never used the DDP. As MOXOMUMD mentioned, it's probably different for each situation (whether you enjoy full meals and plenty of food, whether you have kids, and other reasons). I travel to WDW alone, and I don't eat much, and don't always stay at a Disney hotel (which is the only way you can get the DDP).
I hope you can understand that no one here (especially me) was ignoring your question. My best guess is that not everyone has experienced using the DDP, and if they didn't have anything helpful to share, they probably thought it was best to not reply. You're very well liked here in the Chat section. Looking forward to your return here after a brief hiatus.
