I remember you, too! :)
If I remember correctly, our June of '13 trips overlapped by a day or two. It was the last week of Star Wars Weekends. We didn't plan to meet up or anything, but, I remember you tellin' me to keep an eye out for a crazy lady wearin' a Figment backpack...!!! :joyfull: :)
That's right! I'm the crazy who drove down during a tropical storm to make it for the last day of SWW! Speaking of the pack. I still have it and it's going down with me next year!

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Eating a beet sandwich entertains later as well. Pooping red is always an eye opener, especially if you temporarily forget you ate them. :jawdrop:

You do realize that there is a point when way too much information is released, don't you? :oops:o_O

I do. That's why all I mentioned was taking a red cup to the office.
Not like I talked about red poop! :jawdrop:

Thanks for remembering me! I've been very busy with life!!!!! So much has gotten in the way! Hopefully things are slowing down. Fingers crossed they will, because I'm planning my next trip! Not until August 2016, but hoping it will be a total blow out. Never too early to start planning! LOL I'm the crazy who starts packing at the 180 day mark!:D

Our first official sea day we slept in if you call 9:00 a.m. sleeping in. :D We had planned on getting an early swim since our room was a very short walk to the main pool but it was coooooolllllddddd! :coldfeet: We're almost to Cuba, how can it only be 64* and overcast! :cold: (I had actually contemplated on wearing my jacket but turned the heat all the way up in our room instead.) Surprisingly there were still people in the pool and I'm sure they were the ones saying, "We paid a lot for this cruise and we're swimming!" No thank you, I like to keep feeling in my fingers and toes. :p

On Sea Days the other assigned restaurant, Blush, (pictured below) has an open brunch. The first thing you'll notice is the beautiful chandeliers made of tiny twinkling lights. So pretty but I would never want to clean them. They have a nice selection of breakfast and lunch items to choose from. This morning my daughter and I had a short stack of pancakes, seasoned hash browns, a croissant and bacon. (I might have eaten bacon every day of the cruise. :angelic: )

The weather was still carppy cool after dining but the sun was shining so we decided to mosey to the Sports Deck (located on the topmost level of the ship) for a few rounds of minigolf. Unfortunately so did a lot of other families with little children. :cautious: We thought they would be in the children's club aboard ship which looked pretty great. (We toured them but my daughter decided it wasn't her thing.) Waiting for our turn, the girls decided to play--or should I say try to play--billiards. The wind was blowing pretty well across the deck causing all the balls to roll to one side. The game lasted all of three minutes before they moved to the foosball table with the same results. :joyfull: They didn't even try pingpong.

By this time I had become one with my chair. That comfy feeling where you know you should get up but you really don't want to. So the girls played on without me while I checked my eyelids for cracks. ;) That is until I felt "ploop.....ploop.....wush!" The heavens opened. It was raining! Mass exodus from the S.D. I'm pretty sure the only ones left behind were the two bartenders. :hilarious: What to do now? Eat? Yeah, let's eat.

"Aaaahhhhhhaaaahhhhhhaaaaaaahhhhhhhaaaaaaahhhhhhhaaaaahhhhhhaaaaaahhhhh" (pretend that's angels singing)

Enter Guy's Burgers! A handformed mound of delicious grilled burgerosity on a buttered bun with fresh hand cut fries. :inlove: There were five different choices and today we chose the "Pig Patty" which was lettuce, onion, tomato (which I gave to my daughter), mayo, cheese and a round patty made of bacon on top of the actual burger. These were so big we shared and.....we shared one almost every day. :hungry: There was also a toppings bar with your usual condiments plus sauteed onions, sauteed mushrooms, chili, nacho cheese sauce, banana peppers, jalepeno peppers, and more bacon! Thank goodness Guy's was free!!!

guysburgerjoint.jpeg Every time I tried to take my own picture they weren't as pretty (or half eaten before I remembered) but this is a great example of the BBQ burger. It has onion rings on it.

Now to "DID YOU SEE WHO THAT WAS?" :jawdrop:  :jawdrop: We decided to go galavanting around the other decks of the ship since it was still raining. Standing in a little group of people waiting for the elevator I look to my left and facing the other direction....No!....It can't be!.....For real!...... :banghead: IT WAS THE SMOKING DUDE FROM THE PLANE! What incredibly dumb luck he happened to be on our ship! :bored: That was the fastest we ever jumped on an elevator so he didn't see us. Unfortunately this would not be the only time we run into him.

Wow. I learn something new here every day! (I wish you had mentioned this a few months ago!! :D )

They had a segment on the News back a few months ago. I'd be more inclined to use the vinegar one, 'cause I am more of a reactive type gal over preventative. Wish that wasn't so.

There was another one where you put newspaper on windshield before storm and then sprayed with water after ice storm and the newspaper is suppose to slide off with the ice. Not doing that one, my luck I'd have frozen newspaper to the windshield 'till spring or it would get buried under snow.:cautious:
