Thanks. Didn't realize it would generate such a strong reaction. I thought at the most, it would be, "Okay, I see that you're caught up in April Fools. We'd like to preserve this forum for actual news and rumors. Thanks for understanding." And that would be the end of it.

Not just this situation in general but the forums here and everywhere, some get off on drama. They pounce and beat the dead horse. So not worth getting your knickers in a knot over you were just the daily pounce on. I understand the moving of the thread, genuinely but all the rest so not necessary. Pixie Dust to you.:inlove:

I was blessed the vast majority of my life, I weighed 98 pounds even 6 weeks after my kids were born and released from hospital after birth wearing normal people clothes and I had a 9# kid. Then I hit 40. :cautious: dumtadumta

After rising from a size 6 upwards I had to take some control for the first time in my life over what I put in my mouth. Portions was really the key. Eating the good stuff but just in smaller amounts. And if I pig out at one meal I watch the next meal. I'm betting this Sunday will be my exception though. Oy, but slurp.

Yep, doesn't really matter what you're eatin', per se, as I always say, simply consume less and move more. :)

You are lucky. I have not been 98 pounds for a long time. Actually, 98 pounds is probably not a good weight for me, but anyway...

I weighed too much in middle school and the beginning of high school. I vowed never to let myself get that way again. So far, except when I sprained my ankle and could not exercise at all, I've kept that vow. Even after I sprained my ankle, I put on 20 pounds but then lost it.

Yeah, it does have that capacity if not done right. Anyway, you can be sure I won't bother with it, at least here, next year.

I enjoy April Fools Day if that makes you feel any better. My DS sent me a text from work before I even got up for the official renaming of Cinderella Castle to Frozen Castle. And yes it was plausibly something Disney would do so it took to the count of 5 for me to think April 1st. :jawdrop:

You know what's funny?

Ugh. I just read the thread. Makes my angry. Not everything has to be turned into a fight. It's funny when people talk about being too grown up for April fools....on a WDW forum. I believe Walt said it best...adults are only kids grown up, anyway.

When my Father in Law would come down to visit he would always bring some of those for the girls. They have fond memories of them. I am an ungrateful wretch and was not excited about it at all. I thought that he just found the cheapest candy he could find to win over his grandchildren. :grumpy:

Oh Dear. That describes my MIL to the tee. :(

Half-day Friday tomorrow, but, I still have a hard deadline to meet before I can get gone for the weekend...!
Sweet Disney dreams to all...!!!
Later onnnnnnn...!!! :)
You have to work tomorrow? Is it not a stat?

But for a handful of restaurants and corner stores, this town will be shut down like Christmas Day tomorrow. And then again on Sunday.
All malls, banks, grocery stores, banks ... closed.
No mail delivery or garbage pick up.

My college is closed tomorrow.

Second college, which is a state school, is not closed. Public schools are closed. Everything else I expect to be open as usual.

Sure, why not?! Disney puts mac 'n cheese on a dog.

Not a fan of the cheese noodles on a chicken dog. In theory Disney pretended to move to Chicken Dogs to be healthier. Then they dump all this over the top cheap fattening crud on the chicken dog. Bring me back the real hotdog please and it won't need all this other stuff dumped on top. Chicago toppings on a real hotdog rocks.
