I have to wait until we go back to the Converse outlet in Buffalo - so, mid-May. :)

I really want the new laceless style, but can't find them in pink.
They exist, I just can't find them anywhere, including on-line.

Good luck! I can only find them in Childrens and they are everywhere in the kids department. My Sis and Niece have them but they wear a size 6 which there is a Kids equivalent size in.

I'm alive :D Thank god for the job because I was going insane.

Just focusing on having a first real job and learning so many things. It crazy how many things you need to learn. A lot of alphabet abbreviations too. Bridge is building a jersey barrier which makes a four lane bridge even narrower. Joy! I need a schedule because I can't come on in the mornings, I already wake up early enough.

Today, everybody who works for my company thought we had Good Friday off because of an email they sent saying we had it off. Three minutes later, the were like no. But we do get paid for tomorrow working and holiday pay for tomorrow too. I can't explain that one.

But I've kept my cool on my love for England. I only told them all my favorite shows and music were all British.

I'm so happy it is going well for you. Wishing you all the success.

I really wanted to get to the Basin store on my trip a couple weeks ago, but I never made it to Downtown Disney. I forgot about the store at the Grand Floridian until I was back at my resort waiting for the Magical Express. I guess I just need to go back again!

I can't go in Basin and my DD would likely be taken away by the paramedics. Place just throws off my respiratory system.

This is timely, because Converse is launching a new, big comeback (their traditional Chucks are considered very trendy). I also like your red Chucks by the way! Link attached (below, from the Boston Globe) about the company's revitalization plans in Boston.

My DS first Easter Costume as my DS put it was a red suit coat white pants and shirt and red high top gym shoes along with a top hat. So cute. My DD had many pairs of high tops that she wore with her little leggings and also some of her casual dresses.

This is what the original chip wagon looked like when it was located downtown at the old Market Square.

I remember being a kid, and rushing like crazy, praying I had enough time to grab a ten cent cone of fries before transferring buses. (You know, back when 9 and 10 year olds rode city buses on their own. :joyfull: )

Didn't seem to hurt Stan much, but the old Market Square was built on an ancient Indian (Native) burial ground and was cursed.
For more than a century, nothing was built there. It was just an empty 100m x 100m block. Eventually a 3-storey mall was built there. It was empty and bankrupt within a decade.

We are blessed to be the home of Portillo's in Illinois but it has now invaded Arizona and Cali too. It too was a one man show right down the block from where my SILs grew up.

And that is why I rarely order fries. I eat the ones you stick in the oven to cook at home, and then other than that I usually don't eat them unless we're on vacation. There's one place within walking distance of the other campus where you can get fries, and I don't go there.

This might be the first time I've gotten fries since I've been here. I usually get one of the quesadillas, a taco bowl (that is anothee weight gain culprit; I have to be super hungry to order it) chicken caesar salad, or soup. Sometimes I bring my own. They have preweapped sandwiches if you're in a hurry (with no tomato @JenniferS )

I was blessed the vast majority of my life, I weighed 98 pounds even 6 weeks after my kids were born and released from hospital after birth wearing normal people clothes and I had a 9# kid. Then I hit 40. :cautious: dumtadumta

After rising from a size 6 upwards I had to take some control for the first time in my life over what I put in my mouth. Portions was really the key. Eating the good stuff but just in smaller amounts. And if I pig out at one meal I watch the next meal. I'm betting this Sunday will be my exception though. Oy, but slurp.
