I would freak out being rescued that high up...They would have to pry my hands off that scaffolding. I do not like that kind of heights!

I did an obstacle course mud run a few months back and at least 4 of the obstacles were climbing up something about 15 feet high, hoisting yourself over the top, and climbing back down the other side. One was a rock wall, one was an A frame wooden ladder, one a rope net ladder one a combination of two of those. The first one (the rock wall) I managed to climb up and then - for lack of better words - freaked the "f" out - and I am probably understating it. I froze. I couldn't move up or down. My friend had to yell in my face to make eye contact with her and talk me down. I skipped the other obstacles because I started shaking just looking at them. If I were on the scaffold I would have passed out. That's part of the reason I can't do big giant coasters - fear of getting stuck.

I seem to remember you posting some pictures of the run...I don't guess there was a picture of you stuck on the wall, huh?

There was actually a photographer at the top of the wall but he was shooting the people climbing up and not people once they got over. I suppose if I started screaming and making a spectacle he would have captured the whole thing but I just froze.

When I was in basic training in the late 60's our obstacle course had a 50 ft tower that went straight up. It was made of 2 X 4's and at the top it would sway back an forth with every movement you made. I just did it and tried not to think about it. Apparently, I made it alright. Now that I think about it, it was the late 60's so we were pretty much all high anyway. (Forget I ever said that. It's just a vicious rumor. It never happened. I was not even there officer.)

I'm fine with coasters, but if I lose my grip when doing something like rock climbing and you are just hanging there, that freaks me out. That's why I find these so scary:
