We stayed at a Best Western in Pigeon Forge. $45 a night, and we had a suite with jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and free breakfast.
When I first looked it seemed the PF hotels were more expensive than the ones on I-40 nearby. But I figured out you could find deals and not only pay less but get higher quality.

I think I'll skip the Dixie Stampede: it couldn't possibly compare to watching all the old folks here when the free breakfast opens.

Saw LOTS of that at WDW this trip.
And no offense, but it was ALWAYS the mom ignoring the kids.

Waiting for the boat at POFQ on Tuesday, a little one got his foot stuck in the rocks. The 3-year old plaintively cried, "I need help". I put everything down and lifted him right out. Mama, 20 feet away, never looked up from her cell phone even once.

You should have picked up one of the rocks and pelted her with it.
