'Villains Unleashed' hard ticketed event coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios in August

Crazy for the people in line for either Maleficent or Constantine, that's going to be the entire party for them. 1 meet and greet.

I haven't seen a single positive thing said on Twitter about this event. It's unfortunate because the villains are so underused and deserve something better than this mess (as do the people that paid for this)

Surely they learnt from the last mess of a villains event? Nope. Instead they just thought, lets do the same thing again but charge people for it this time.

The other characters aren't much better than the Constantine and Malifecent lines. All are an hour or more. TERRIBLE PLANNING.

Money more important than Guest experience

Even if 250 of the guests wanted to see Constantine in the night, the line would be maxed out. Not much you can do for a character of one.

Which is why this event is failing so bad. Promoting and selling tickets for an event almost exclusively based around character meet and greets. It would work if the capacity was about 1000.

There aren't enough attractions to pull people away from the meet and greensand nobody cares about the shows. I am usually one of those that comes to Disney's defense at all things but this is terrible. Everybody came in at 5 at did all the rides they wanted so now everybody is in line for the one or if they are lucky 2 characters they will meet before the event ends.

Yep, it's a mess. Basically been in line for Constantine the whole night. No chance at Gantu after. Only highlight so far was a quick selfie with the Hades gang. Should have sold less tickets or had the event last longer.

One of (very possibly THE)the biggest live entertainment companies in the world to be able to do this event successfully at the second attempt?

Sorry, I'm not getting at you just this frustrates me that Disney is so useless at everything.

I just see a lot of very excited and happy posts on instagram and tumblr and facebook. I suppose it all depends upon how you approach the event. There seem to be quite a few people who appear to have received value for their money. But...lines suck. I get it. And complaining online is catharsis.
