Have we a theme for this weekend?
We kind of just fell into last week's tribute theme.

no idea honestly. Anything relevant in the news today? maybe we can use something from the news.

I've been wanting to do Muppets ever since I got into an
argument involving them somewhere else on here...:cautious::angelic:
Please tell me it did not involve Oswald. Because that fight was ridiculous XD

Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
We had to take away Mom's car when she drove to my brother's and had no idea how she had got there. She had also had 2 accidents before that. Neither one resulted in serious injury, but could have been much worse if not for the skills of the other drivers involved. The first one was a matter of the sun being in her eyes, so she made a left turn into the hospital driveway where she volunteered and was broadsided by a huge sand truck. The truck driver did all he could but the impact spun her car several times across a very busy road. Fortunately she didn't hit anything else.
The second time she just pulled out onto a road without looking and was hit by another car. She could have killed someone or been killed herself either time, so we knew it was time to yank her licence.

Oh my goodness, how frightening. So far we have nothing to base taking the car, until last night. My DH has her drive to go to dinner a few times a month to keep an eye on the situation. She even parks well, she gases her own car frequently or 'till last night. Her parking garage is narrow and underground, spaces are tight and she pulls that off too and she has a honk'n big car. A spotless driving record. I'm just hoping the car is elsewhere since one of the brothers had to drive it home from PUSH country last night and in a few weeks assisted living takes them where they need to go or the family can, that is the dream I am clinging too today.
