When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I have always found that simply consuming less and moving more works for me...! :D ;) :)
That's 'cause you're a guy.

For many women, of a certain age, refined carbs and starches are our kryptonite.
Foods containing a high glycemic load immediately trigger an insulin spike; affecting metabolism and igniting cravings for more sugar!

Consuming less is not enough if it's still white bread, white rice, and refined pastas.

You're actually better off eating a big hunk of lean steak than a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. The problem is, women are designed to crave carbs to cope with the rigours of pregnancy and nursing. Men are designed to crave fats and animal-derived proteins to cope with your historical roles as hunter and gatherer.

That being said, every single one of us would benefit from eating more: complex carbs, lean protein, and healthy fats; while getting off our iPads/laptops once in a while and going for a walk.

I love the idea of naps in general.

All I know is, this guy will never become a general if he keeps catchin' ZZZs during the day inside of engine nacelle intakes, like that. :cyclops:

So sad. Again, sincerest condolences.
Thank you.

If you have a minute, and are unaware of the "Highway of Heroes", the attached link is interesting.

I have witnessed, but not been part of, one of these convoys, as I travelled on the opposite side of the highway.
The tears poured down my cheeks as I saw dozens, sometimes hundreds of people saluting, ON EVERY SINGLE OVERPASS.

Yow!!!
Can you say "CSI: Magic Kingdom"...?
I bet the crime would remain unsolved.. noone can charge 2,500 CMs as suspects. "The traces we found in the death body, match all of them!, they all contain foam, fake hair of suits, the same dress fabric texture.. WHAT A NIGHTMARE"

I remember about the guy who survived being sucked into the intake of a harrier jet while in an aircraft carrier.
the helmet somehow saved him from the engine at full power.

The arts center had the same issue, but I didn't wait 15 minutes to turn back.
I just entered the bathroom, got to the back of the line, saw people holding beers while "going", saw them chatting/laughing, and went back to my seat. Thankfully I didn't miss anything exciting in the game since we only scored once in the first quarter (this was probably the third quarter).

I just made the time, but, had to watch the videos with the sound muted, as DWifey is sound asleep.
Thank you for that. Very moving, and such a great way to honour ;) those fallen heros.

I think this is the one you're referring too. I just went and found the video and no further, but, if I remember correctly, it was a Grumman A-6 Intruder on the flight deck of an American aircraft carrier...
