So before we left for FL back in January, my Christmas cactus had started to bloom and was really amazing looking for a plant that I do absolutely nothing to.I posted a picture of it back then:

now, some 11 weeks later, it continues to bloom and sprout more buds:

The moral of the story I guess is ignorance is bliss...

That's a pretty plant. I really cannot grow anything inside. I guess it would help if I remembered to water them. :(

So many pages to catch up on!!

I am home now, got home about 8:30 am central time. Ride was long, boring, and uneventful. This is the first time where I really didn't feel ready to come home, normally I'm eager to get back home at least a little bit. I don't know what it is, but it barely felt like I was in Florida that long. I could go back for another week right now! Especially since it's 16 degrees, feeling like 5 right now. :grumpy: Saw part of the college campus as we drove into town, and I knew I was back to reality. If only I didn't have a bazillion assignments due within the next few days. Grrr.

Anyway... I'm home now, and back to a laptop. Not sure when I'll get around to posting some pictures, but I took way more than I probably should have. All on my phone, too! We never took an actual camera into the parks. Luckily my phone came with a 16GB mini SD card, and I have more storage than I'll ever need on it.

So that's that! Now time to read up on this thraed :bookworm:... maybe later.
