Please avoid EPCOT center Drive due to a major accident involving a Disney's magical express bus.

All lanes are closed

FHP is describing this as Fatal accident.

It is immediately after the DTD exit, prior to the Epcot backstage lane overpass.

It is on the incoming / Westbound side

Traffic is stopped in both directions.

holy cow there is almost nothing left of the back of that blue car. Thoughts & prayers go out to everyone involved in this accident. What a tragedy

Traffic is being forced to exit onto BVD Westbound and Eastbound at the final exit on Epcot center drive.

Your best bet is to avoid the DTD area entirely.

No. The backseat was pushed into the front seat, as if it was rear ended.

Expect delays all night

I thought it was going to be of the traffic. OMG, that car is nearly smooshed like a junkyard would do. Those poor people. I hope there were no children in there.

Fox Orlando is saying the fatality is the woman driving the car. Ugh, how awful.

ETA: My kids are at Epcot today with my mom, so I'm a little hyperaware of things down there today.

Edit: if someone had to die, I am so glad it isn't a child.

The whole thing is so unbelievably sad.

Oh man, this is SO sad. I hope they are able to help everyone who's on that bus, what a terrible way to start a vacation, being part of a tragedy like that. My sincere condolences to the family of the deceased.
