Conjecture. Something is coming. Indy is likely to be replaced.

And that's all so far.

Ok, I'm just repeating what others have said. I'm no insider and make no claims about any personal knowledge. the peple who have previously said that the IJ stunt show would be replaced by a speeder bike ride seemed pretty confident that at least that part of the plan was set up (at least at the time; things can change).

Does someone in the executive suite, at Burbank or O-Town, get a prize when NextGen hits Tokyo Disney Seas' budget of 3.2 Billion USD. Seriously.

My God.

Since the hiring of CM's that have the capacity to deal with this issue properly, along with the cost of training them to do so, has nothing to do with datamining of minor children or justifying inane executive group think, it's obviously not part of the 2012-2013 budget.:greedy:

If I were her, I'd be firing off letters to everyone in the foodchain from the resort manager right up to the Weatherman. And if I could get contact info on members of the BOD, even better. Maybe one will land in the lap of one of them that doesn't drink the Iger kool-aid.

And copy the Unoffical guide, Orlando Sentinal, WESH-TV, USA-Today, etc...

Cannot comment on those steps right now. It is not being taken lightly by her though.

Its nothing personal, just trying to reign it in a tad....

Kinda hard to say we know something is going to happen before Disney has even green-lit the project.

More in how you phrase it. Something more like "based on what insiders have said, there's a distinct chance that Indy would be replaced, should the SW expansion be greenlit."

Lots of people (From Glendale to various newsrooms to the drunks at the bar) use these forums for their information. I'm just trying to shape us in a more accurate, less speculative direction.

As UNI continues to add rooms (as many as 14,000 according to a post I saw somewhere on this board), do you think they will be able to continue to offer these benefits to resort guests?

Cabana Bay won't have unlimited express, but it will have early access.

Wow this is amazing, 36 pages, in 2 day, and 0 information...

Kinda hard when there's no information to give.

The SW Land was leaked.... and now the leak seems to have dried up.

Its an information vacuum as there's no news at all. Which leads me to speculate that things are negotiating the labyrinth of Disney's bureaucracy and internal politics. The Death Star has nothing on that.

I once stayed at Wyndham Bonnet Creek and had an EPOCOT view, we could even see the Contemporary Resort way off in the distance. It was just about like being on Disney property in that respect. Except I paid $800 for a week for a two bedroom suite with a full balcony as opposed to several thousand dollars if it was actually run by Disney.

The price is great and I would and have recommeded the place to others since the multiple bedrooms and bathrooms make travel so much nicer with a larger group. I do let them know that it is primarily a time share and the level and availability of service is less than you'll find at a nicer hotel (and the you kind get at a DVC when renting it like a hotel room).

Well, the Death Star was fully operational. So it has that going for it. Which is nice.

Double points score: Star Wars/Caddyshack reference!

Sorry. Long day at work.

I believe Sonya is still GM of both OKW and Saratoga and she is low enough on the food chain, she may actually get your email: Sonya.deese-byrnes@disney.com

Im pretty sure asianway knows everything and has an answer to every question.

I kinda like that. A lot.
I read a write up on her a while back, she has been there a long time. Ive stayed at OKW and never had a problem, so I took note that she may be one of the "good ones". Never had personal dealings though. The glass and dishwasher incidents on this thread are unacceptable.

I'm pretty sure Rasulo is an agent of Satan whose goal is to destroy the Disney Parks. He certainly did a good job of that with WDW!
Rasulo is actually the second person I visualize when that word is said. I won't say who I think of first to avoid political discussions. (No, it's not the President)

Its more that business people just don't get creativity. They're interested in dollars, profit margins, and making more and more money now. They have no long term thinking.

Me, I believe in making a metric (pooh!)-ton of money in five years than a little profit margin today.

Let's just be clear here. The glass in cornea and dishwasher are unacceptable at ANY hotel, esp. at a Disney one with such lack of care for the person injured afterwards. You're absolutely right; I hope the two posters involved do contact her. Thanks for posting the info. And I stand by my former statement. :)

In December a Dishwasher door fell off onto my aunt and knocked her down. The hinge rusted out on it and went kaput. The front desk at SSR wanted no parts of trying to make up for it or offer any medical assistance in regards to her falling and getting several large bruises. It was nothing more than "Sorry, HAVE A MAGICAL DAY!"

(Generally off topic post below, but relevant to the above comment.)

Yeah, resort employees aren't too keen on being friendly when someone has a health issue. Two years ago I was down there and had a medical emergency on a bus. We'd just gotten outside the gates of Pop when it happened. A cast member arrived a minute or so before the ambulance and all he proceeded to do was harass me to make sure I was actually a resort guest and not a bus hopper. I have no idea why it mattered, but I was in no shape to answer him and one of the paramedics had to physically escort him away while they were getting me set up in the ambulance. I wish I could have gotten the cast member's name. He never once asked how I was or what happened, he just kept barking out order for me to tell him my room number and how long I was staying. It made no sense at the time and still doesn't.

The bus driver was more helpful overall, in that he wasn't yelling at me, but he really earned the ire of the two medical professionals on the bus when he refused to let them look me over. I guess he was worried about a lawsuit over a misdiagnosis or something. I can understand that, but at the time I was more concerned with not dying than Disney's potential legal troubles.

If I've learned one thing from it, it's to never get sick on WDW property.
