Has a tornado ever been spotted in Disney World?

There was one on Hotel Plaza Blvd in '98 or '99 when I worked at one of the hotels there. I can't remember which hotel it hit, but the tornado did a little damage. I'm glad none have hit our beloved WDW parks!

I believe there was one in Disneyland once, think I read it in Mouse Tales or its follow up but could be misremembering.

I was there when one hit, not too far away, in February of 1998. It was a Sunday night around midnight, and it was such a ferocious storm that I couldn't stop watching it out our window. I never saw anything like it! We later found out that a tornado had touched down just a few miles away in Kissimmee, and at least a few dozen people were killed. The following morning in the Magic Kingdom, you'd never know it had even rained. The only concession to the weather was at Universal, where, if deferance to the community, they shut down the "Twister" attraction.

Yes. Most are funnel clouds or doppler radar-indicated tornadoes. The only one I personally saw was a funnel cloud on the leading edge of Hurricane Charlie.

Also, had a tornado go down my street last year. Its Florida, it happens.
