I want to try something different at a 1 credit spot. If a place is not listed it means I don't care to eat there or I already have. If anybody has any info or pics of the places I do list....Feel free to share. Your reward for doing so will be short and furry. That describes 2 people on this board. Up to you to figure out who...

Cape May Cafe
Big River Grille and Brewing Works
Shutters at Old Port Royale
Trails End
Captains Grille
Tusker House (Dinner)
Yak and Yeti
Hollywood and Vine
Akershus
Tutto Italia (Been here plenty of times but not since they changed the whole menu)
T-Rex Cafe

Thanks in advance folks.

I don't do pictures, but I have eaten at Cape May Cafe, Sutters, Captain's Grille, and Hollywood and Vine. My ADR's in the past at those places is for a party of 2.

I will be going to Trail's End on my next trip, but I can't help you there outside of pictures I seen on the Disney Food Blog earlier this month. link for pictures: http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2013/...restaurant-at-disneys-fort-wilderness-resort/

Cape May Cafe isn't for everyone. The place changed when I was at WDW in late August to Early September last year in terms of stuff they have. The salad part is limited compare to the past according to the other person I was with. There seems to be more with seafood now in the past besides the change of desserts with there being no bon-bon's.

Captain's Grille is one of my favorites for dinner. I haven't been there for breakfast. Their New York Strip is great and their Tenderloin is great also

Hollywood and Vine is a place that I haven't went to since 2007 or 2008. The problem there there food selection changes a lot. That means their selection of food may not be something that you want one night, but one night it could be. The other issue is their food's not the best. Unless your there breakfast meet and greets, there are better places to go to.

Sutters is a place that I wouldn't being on my next trip. Their selection of food is lacking compare to the past. Their New York Strip tastes good.

Either Tusker House (Dinner) or Cape May Cafe. Perfer Tusker House as that is my favorite restaurant on property. At Tusker House, it's a buffet. So they have many beefs such as pork loins, roast beef, etc. The buffet offerings are very similar to what Boma offers. I love the desserts especially the bread pudding which is the best. The cobblers are good as well. So yeah, for me I'd recommend Tusker House for you.

We've had breakfast, lunch and dinner at Akershus. I like lunch and dinner much better than breakfast. The cold buffet is really what makes this meal in my opinion, but since it's a princess meal and doesn't have all of the wow factor of dining in the castle for CRT- I'm not really sure if it's worth it if you aren't at least partly interested in the character aspect. The plate pictured below is an assortment from the cold buffet during dinner...

Mushroom Ravioli- not bad, but hardly Norwegian

We also did T-Rex this last trip and it was pretty neat. Once again, a lot of kids but the food was decent and the service was excellent. This is also a good one to make your reservation by phone directly to T-Rex

We've also done Hollywood & Vine, but only for breakfast. It's a fun character meal and we found the food to be on par with Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace. The service was also good and they had us out the door before 9am (had an 8:05a).

Cape May Cafe - I don't eat seafood, but have gone here many times with people who do. Not one of them loved it. Reviews ranged from "okay" to "not good". That's how I felt about the non-seafood, too. Okay.

Shutters at Old Port Royale - went once. Terrible service and food wasn't great there. But it was just the one visit.

Trails End - not as good as it once was, but neither am I. And I like Ft. Wilderness.

Tusker House (Dinner) - fairly dood, but noisy

T-Rex Cafe - busy, loud and noisy - nearly to the point of madness at dinner time - but I have loved every meal I had. When they say a dessert can be shared, they aren't lying. Big!

I actually went there 4 times and I did also terrible service once there. You are no alone there for bad service over there. I had that problem in late November of 2010. I originally forgot about that on my first post on this thread.

I will pinch you really, really hard if you go to Hollywood and Vine. If you have time I highly recommend Trails End, good food and very different. Bang for the buck.

Big River their higher end food is Meh, but their Kobe Burger is out of this world. I have had good meals at Yak and Yeti.

Hey stranger! Although we don't go very often due to scheduling conflicts, we have always been fans of Hollywood and Vine and my mother always goes to Cape May when she goes to Disney and she really loves it.
I could pull a WDWMagic classic move and start naming restaurants you don't have listed like you said not to do so I'll spare you.

Yak & Yeti has very good beef stir fry with jasmine rice- and we both love their won ton soup, served with crispy won ton strips. Big River Grille is reasonable & their burgers are pretty good. DH enjoyed the chicken sandwich there. It's pretty loud inside of there's a major sports game on tv & a table of loud drinkers nearby. Just congaloosh & ignore!

'Ohana! Food is good and the lapu lapu is great! I second yak and yeti. The desserts are very good (cheesecake and honey wonton). Another idea maybe someone can give reviews on The Turf Club. Someone posted pics of their prime rib dinner and it looked delicious. Unfortunately I won't be able to try again this year.

Hi Dorkface.

We've eaten at Cape May Cafe, T-Rex and Akershus for breakfast (I know you guys don't really do breakfast but I'll review it anyway...)

Cape May - your basic seafood buffet. Crab legs are the main attraction and they are good. They have a carved beef station that Bill loves. And their macaroni and cheese on the kids station is amazing. But if you like seafood buffets - it's a good one.

T-Rex - the food was decent...not amazing but still good. The atmosphere is pretty cool. Their dessert - countdown to extinction - AMAZING. Brownie like cake with butterfinger pieces and ice cream. Really good. Highlight of the meal.

Akershus - Again...we've only had breakfast. But it's awesome to be in EPCOT super early before the park is open. A buffet of cold foods - bagels, a few different types of cream cheese (Colleen can have just a plate of cream cheese) pastries, fruit, yogurt and weird fish because its Norway (but of course Bill loved the fish). And hot food brought to the table - potatoes, eggs, bacon. It was actually our favorite breakfast of the trip. And you're outta there by park opening so you can get to Soarin/TT as if you were at rope drop

None of them were jaw dropping amazing meals. But none of them were terrible either. All decent food and nice atmosphere.
