I'm with you. Not sure about the menu. The experience yes, the menu not sure?

Maybe Palo brunch and Remy dinner for the girls cruise! :)

I've not seen any cupcakes onboard but I've never looked for one either.

True about the 3 1/2 hours. Can we get the room in the back that has the mural of Gusteau's kitchen??? I wanted to go in that room sooooo bad! We saw a group of like 8 or 10 in the glass wine room thing. I thought that looked awful. It's like seeing people in a fish bowl! LOL!

We can request the room! Not the wine room, lol!

Oh, cupcakes! Maybe once or twice in the buffets, but not a regular thing.

Ummm...so, really $75 for the full "champagne brunch" experience? Although four glasses of bubbly in 90 minutes could be cause for staggering out.

I sure hope those photos are not of the actual portion sizes--they look like two bites each!

I think I just found one benefit of living in NYC, though--those prices actually seem pretty reasonable to me for dining out (which is a huge reason why I generally only eat out at WDW; at home, I'd rather cook and invite friends over)

That is one benefit of living in NYC and yes, I think the portions are pretty small. :)

Last time I ate at Yachtsman Steakhouse, my steak came topped with "mushroom foam". I had to call the waiter back and ask what it was--it looked like dirty dish suds. :eek:

Lol! That completely reminds me of Top Chef. Some of them love foam. :)

Ewww! I can imagine that mushroom foam is not a pretty color.

The price of the missed "regular" lunch/brunch has to be figured into the cost. Admittedly, it is not as much as the cost of missing a regular dinner rotation for Paolo or Remy, but it is there. Figure what, maybe $15 for a buffet lunch that you would be missing, and the cost is more along the lines of $65. Not bad, but not a bargin either. The dishes look great, but they don't seem very "brunchy" to me - more of a late lunch, early dinner type menu for my tastes.

This was my first thought which is why I want to look into the menu more. My favorite meal is breakfast so if there's not more breakfast-y dishes then I'll go for Palo instead. I've had Palo brunch and there's definitely good breakfast-y stuff there!

My father-in-law actually said that about living in Chicago. No matter where he went in the world after living in Chicago, the cost of dinner was always reasonable.

I couldn't agree more!!! You know what I'd like with my lunch? FOOD. Not foam. It's utterly ridiculous. Thank you for saying it out loud! :)
