Soooo my son is coming in late tonight to pick up his lost load of laundry and to have our mechanic look at his car again. It's also his birthday while we're gone, so we'll probably celebrate that tomorrow.

How fun!!! Sounds like this occasion deserves some pie!!

Dave and I were out shopping this afternoon and met a woman in a boot like mine (same foot even). We stopped and talked to her for a couple of minutes - she was really discouraged about being in the boot. I think we might have cheered her up, except when we told her that I had mine 'til the middle of December. Anyway, I hugged her and wished her well, and she thanked me. It was kind of cool.

Awww - that's really sweet. It's such a great feeling to be able to offer encouragement from personal experience. I'm sure she appreciated it. Although, I'm sure HER boot won't have such awesome adventures as YOURS did!!!!

After some horrible men sold them discounted meat contaminated with anthrax, most of the town of Walnut Grove came down with it, including Laura, Albert, Adam (Mary's husband) and Mr. Oleson (who told Mrs. Oleson that he loved her, which made her cry.) A few (including one child and the horrible men) died before Charles and Merlin Olsen got back with more medicine and sherry...they were late because they were carjacked (well, buggyjacked) and had to deal with all that.

But they got back and all (except for the dead ones) are well.

I knew you were all dying for an update!

Do you remember the one with Albert and the clowns?? Gave me nightmares until...well...last week??! Totally freaky.
